Great hand placement is key when handling the ball. If your hands aren't in the right position you are limited to what moves you can make. If you have the ball tight and on the hip you are always ready to react and make the right move to get past your defender.

Big D in the house!! I love this guy!! One of the most genuine people I know, and nicest. The world needs more people like him. He's going to be a really tall and big kid. Going to be a good post if he keeps working at it. Already his coordination and footwork is coming together. Love this guy!!
Thought of the day!!! It's not a good one either!!! I have a player 12 that has worked with me this summer. One of the best players in his area by far. He has dreams of going to the NBA!!! I believe he could do it one day. Regardless if he does he's going to be a heck of a player with those aspirations and his skill. Well he goes to this camp for top players in Texas, and didn't have the best showing. Just had a bad day. Well they give him his evaluation and basically tell him he's not good enough. Btw this kid is 12 I mind you. Who tells a 12 year old with big dreams that he can't do something. People like that shouldn't be around youth. Btw top coaches that see this kid play think he's amazing. If you are a trainer coach or involved with players it is our job to build them up so they can play to the best of there ability. This kids dreams could be his reality one day. Let's build these kids up guys!!!
