The Eucharist is the very sacrifice of the Body and Blood of the Lord Jesus, which he instituted to perpetuate the sacrifice of the cross throughout the ages until his return in glory. Thus, He entrusted to his Church this memorial of his death and Resurrection. It is a sign of unity, a bond of charity, a paschal banquet in which Christ is consumed, the mind is filled with grace, and a pledge of future glory is given to us. ©

Hibla:
"As citizens of the kingdom of heaven, we are to give God what is due to Him just as we give to our earthly leaders what is due for them."

Hugot:
Have we ever seen the goodness of God come from some unexpected person/s or place, especially from some purely secular source? Have we been able to appreciate how God can work through apparently “unholy” means or “unbelievers” to achieve good? Do we fairly render to civil institutions what is proper, i.e., do we pay taxes? How can we give back to God what is due? What can we do to help others to return to the Lord God what belongs to God?

Hamon:
As earthly citizens of this world, we do our obligation and duty to our earthly leaders by doing our part to be good citizens like paying taxes, obeying the rules and regulations of the country, participating in nation-building projects for the good of the country etc. and as citizens of the kingdom of heaven, we also do our obligation to God by doing our evangelization mission to bringing others to know Him and loving our neighbor just as we love God.

Hibla: Empowered by the Holy Spirit, Jesus calls us for a mission to bring what belongs to our One True God.

2. With all the blessings God has given to you, how would you respond to God's call?

Reflect on the things that you cannot surrender to God and ask for His grace to surrender everything to Him.

God will continue to journey with us to a best life ever as we live a life like no other.

As the youth enters the life of being a young adult, doubts and fears are inevitable. Despite of those things, the Lord continues to shower them with His love and grace. The gift of community is the Lord’s one way to guide them as they journey with Him in the new chapter of their lives – the “adulting” stage.

MFC Singles Laguna invites all transitioning MFC Youth to SWITCH program (Spiritual Walk: an Invitation Towards CHrist) on October 21, 2023 (Saturday), 1PM-4PM at MFC Laguna Home Office, Calamba City, Laguna.

As one MFC community, let us walk in together in the path that God is leading us to fulfill the mission that He entrusted to us.
