PARENT GIVES ME REALITY CHECK;
One of parents whose daughter I tutor said this to me yesterday:
“It’s completely insane in our house. Both my husband and I are working from home (this is not the norm for them),
2 of their children are home from University as the dorms have closed, their 3rd child, a high school senior, had a panic attack as today is her birthday and she couldn’t celebrate with friends, and child #4 (12 year old) and I were peacefully sitting in the garden doing math as the stressed out mom walked in the adjoining Open Space with the lovely Spring wildflowers at their peak.
We can choose either
Insanity and Chaos OR Peace, Ease, and Serenity.
This is what I can offer to families at this time of transition and disruption. I am offering tutoring in the garden AND remotely via Zoom/Skype. Please let me know if you know of parents who would like some peace and serenity.
