BASIL PESTO
I had a massive amount of Basil given to me so I made lots of pesto. Great to stir through pasta for a quick dinner with extra parmesan, as a dip or on Bruscetta.
I freeze it and also use it as a boost of flavour in dishes as well.

Thermie to the rescue. Quick steaming of potatoes and 10 secs for a beautiful mash. A cooked chook and a beautiful gravy made on thicken mode.
Thermie saves the day again for the hungry family.
