Ottoville ousts Lincolnview in four sets MIDDLE POINT — The Ottoville volleyball team opened tournament play Tuesday night with a 25-18, 25-19, 21-25, 25-15 Division IV sectional semifinal win over Lincolnview.

— Learning from mistakes.

4. What will you miss the most about high school volleyball ?
— I will miss the summer scrimmages and seeing all my friends at practice.

5. What is your favorite drill at practice?
— triple doubles (short court)

6. What is the most important thing to you about being a volleyball player?
— The most important thing to me is remembering how important teamwork and communication are, just like in real life. Even if you have the best individual skills on the court, your success depends on your ability to collaborate with teammates.

7. What are you most proud of as a player/teammate for Ottoville Volleyball ?
— I am most proud of getting the opportunity to play for the amazing community that surrounds me.

8. Favorite pre or post match food?
— Trail mix

9. Favorite song to motivate you before matches?
— Obsessed by Mariah Carey

10. Who is someone you look up to or has helped you be successful?
— Victoria Garrick Browne

11. Best volleyball memory?
— The best volleyball memory was going into 5 sets with Lincolnview, even though we had a rough loss, the whole team played their hearts out.

12. Advice for younger/future players?
— Have fun and make the most of your volleyball career, high school flies by. Keep in mind to enjoy the moment.
