The Vault
The Vault began in a 100 year old Beech Grove bank building in 2006. The Vault was voted the #1 salon in Indianapolis several times.
In May 2020, owner Kim Browning moved her salon to her home in Beech Grove, where she plans to see her regular clients. For 14 years The Vault was located at 700 Main Street in Beech Grove. The Vault was named the #1 Salon in Indy by NUVO readers multiple times, and named the Best Place for an Updo/Special Occasion Hair by Indianapolis Monthly Magazine. Bob’s oldest granddaughter wanted a perm for her birthday. So a perm she got!  the last several inches of her hair were dry and damaged so we did a haircut first with some long layers. She had an inspiration picture and  although her hair was still wet when she left, I think we came very close to it. She was happy! We used two boxes of Matrix opticurl, and a piggyback wrap, alternating purple and white rods.

June 30 is the end of my Mary Kay fiscal year. I want to thank all of my customers so much for supporting my business  and referring your friends to me. Your trust in me to help you find the right skin care and cosmetics has been especially appreciated this past year!

Our Story
For 14 years, The Vault was a top-rated salon on Main Street in Beech Grove. On May 1. 2020, owner Kim Browning moved her business to a home salon.
The Vault was named the #1 Salon in Indy by NUVO readers multiple times, and named the Best Place for an Updo/Special Occasion Hair by Indianapolis Monthly Magazine.
Kim was happy to mentor many hairstylists to the point that several left to open their own salons.
The Vault now enters a new phase in Kim’s home, where she will continue to see her regular clients with the addition of a few of her client’s friends and family when possible.
