Good to discuss recently with Chris Kirk-Burnnand about flooding issues in Porirua & Tawa. Much of this relates to the Greater Wellington Regional Council budget management.

Good turnout at Roger's Funraising movie night, great movie choice and fellow candidates Josh Trlin and Nathan Waddle enjoyed socialising with the locals. A Big Thanks to all coming and sharing the evening with me.

Roger is helping out Waitoa Catering at Mana College in the healthy school lunches programme, using biodegradable packaging and all food scrapes are given to locals for animal feed.
This is a great program for supporting healthy youth in the Porirua basin.

🌷Celebrate Spring at the annual Titahi Bay Horticultural Society Spring Flower Show.🌷Stunning daffodil and other flower competition exhibits will be on display, plus you can find a bargain at our plant stall with produce, preserves and raffles for sale too. The show cafe will be offering reasonably priced light refreshments.

There has been a slip at Whitireia Park on the Inland Track between Onehunga Bay and Onepoto Estuary. Our fabulous maintenance crew have put up a safety barricade for now, and work is scheduled to widen the path when the weather improves. Please be cautious in this area until the work has been completed.
