The poor state of educational infrastructure in our country, the lack of proper benches, especially in Government schools, threatens the future of India. In 60% of Government schools there are no benches for children and they sit on bare floors.
The lack of infrastructure and supplies results in poor development of children as they are distracted, and their bad posture could lead to backaches.
With this initiative, we aim to support government schools and enable them to provide the necessary infrastructure for the future of the children.
The cost for a single bench = Rs. 2600
With every Rs. 2100 donated, Rotary Club of Jodhpur Padmini will donate Rs. 500 to add upto Rs.2600, the total cost of a bench.
