"In November 2023, Ashley had a brain bleed and seizure. Fast forward to February 2024, he had a 16 hour operation to remove a brain mass, during which he suffered a major stroke that has left him without any mobility on his right hand side and limited speech. From November to April (with the exception of Xmas), Ashley was at Kings College Hospital, London and I was living at the Salvation Army College to be with him full time. After 4 months on the Critical Care, High Dependency and Brain Seizure wards, Ashley was sent to Orpington Neuro Rehab, then Canterbury Neuro Rehab and is now in a nursing home waiting to be rehoused into assisted living accommodation. His speech has improved and his sense of humour and resilience has been remarkable.

It's been an incredibly tough time and both Ashley and myself have discussed the following campaign long and hard before asking for help. But if you're able to look down the back of the sofa for some loose change, we'd be happy to accept it. Even a share on your socials would be incredibly helpful.
