Tyler Son of our UK Consultant Rik Johnson has just had a session to remenber. Setting up at the quite end of the lake, 15 year old Tyler decided to present baits just inches from the nearside bank and go for the stealthy approach. Posistioning his bivvy and rods well back from the waters egde to keep disturbance down to a minimun. After a frustrating 24hrs Tyler was rewarded as the ultra sharp XC7 hook found its mark at first light. This stunning 30lb 4oz Common Carp (NEW PB) powered off into the centre of the lake. With steady pressure applied using his Prologic C3 Ras rods and after an epic 15 minute battle he eventually managed to steer it towards the waiting net.
Congratulations Tyler !! and good luck to everyone whos out this weekend ;)
