"William" (Accardi/Altaville)
I think my voice sounds good on this one. I DID double track it (sang it twice). But there is no reverb or echo/effects on the vocal - and it sounds good that way!

Which Laughing Dogs song should this be the record cover photo for?
I ditched the black switch tip and the plastic gold k***s for authentic Gretsch hardware. Looks more like my old baby now. Dang - flat wound strings sound great on this thing especially for Rockabilly!
Jammin' some jazzy blues with George Souza!

Listen from around 6:45 till the end. In 1975, when we played in Long Island clubs like the Oak Beach Inn, etc. we performed this song live but EXACTLY like the record! Like the record - we kept getting louder and louder and the guitars carried on as sound got more and more intense. We turned the amps up all the way! One of us even did the swishing white noise as we got louder and louder. The audience started covering their ears from the deafening volume. And then, at it's loudest and most intense peak ... we all muted everything. It just stopped with no reverberation or sustain in the sound. Just like on the album where they actually cut the tape at the end of the side. This proved to be a great effect and the audience went from dancing in a trance to complete shock at the deafening silence. Everyone on the dance floor stopped also and stared at the band like What the F___!"
