It's a higgledy-piggledy process, as I have to constantly remind myself there are other crayons/pencils/paints/pens on the table waiting to be used; but the outcome is playful, dynamic and full of energy. I've resisted trying other media for a long time (other than pens), but consider me fully surrendered to this adventure.📖✏✒🖌🖍

I'd recently taken to sitting on the floor in front of the TV to work. Igor likes to do the same, except he's on a chair (and he's not worrying about a deadline). 😅

My first DIY watercolor journal. A6 size, kettle stitched with fly leaves that insert to a removable cover.

How satisfying to see what started out as scraps of paper, a needle and some thread end up into something useful by the time The Godfather II movie rolls credits.

The cover print may look familiar especially to art supply shoppers. This was a paper bag from when I ordered some pencils a few months back. I knew I could find some use for it even then. :)

and I joined on a sketchcrawl to . An immersive walk in and around town is the best way to get to know a place, though my sketch buddy went through several mishaps along the way (too much immersion). 😅

Field testing the green-colored lead refill for my mechanical pencil. Conclusion: does not smudge, unlike graphite. Does not register well on camera. Good only for guide drawings.

I'd woken up feeling under the weather from the previous day's booster shot. Thanks to modern day medicine (paracetamol), I was able to pull myelf together and join the miting de avance in Makati.

Getting ready to queue up in the heat in order to cast my vote in the . No matter who wins, we will be here to watch and criticize, and bill them for the promises they made.
