My approach to training & nutrition these days is very different to my competitive days.
Back then I had the time & less responsibilities. It didn't matter if I put competing above everything else.
These days it’s much different- I have a much more flexible approach that matches my busier schedule & responsibilities.
Just like you in your early 20s, you had more time, less responsibilities.
You could afford to train when you want. Your diary was not as busy as it is now.
But just because your life changes, doesn't mean you should stop investing in your fitness & health.
It simply means changing your approach.
Make sure you still have a goal & stick to it, even it if means making tiny changes to adhere to it.
My point is this...
Your priorities can change, your goals can change & life happens. That is ok, but here is what DOESN’T change:
❌ Not having a goal
❌ Not having a routine & plan
❌ Finding excuses
❌ Forgetting about your health
Comment & like if you agree.

Everything that I’ve achieved in my life has required me to have a goal.
It didn’t matter if it was bodybuilding or if it’s being a coach, I can guarantee you without a goal I would not achieve what I have today.
The same applies to you, you can’t expect to get wins in life without a goal.
There’s a reason you’re not seeing the result you want during the winter...
.. & it's not just the mince pies!
Your summer goal should differ from you winter goal, because you’re likely not chasing a ripped holiday ready body for winter.
But that doesn't mean getting out of shape & losing all the hard work you've already put in.
Instead, here’s how you could make your winter bulletproof without going off track:
- Focus on getting stronger
- Focus on getting fitter
- Focus on being consistent
- Focus on improving good habits
By being consistent in the winter, your summer goals become easier to achieve.
Not only that, but you also prevent potential winter damage such as weight gain or bad mental health.
I am going in to the festive season the best shape I've ever been (for December) & it's not too late for you to take action.

Inability to sit still for a longer duration is one of the main obstacles in the practice of Meditation.
You are not alone...
Why can’t I sit still? - Kwench So you’ve been trying! That is a good start. Remember you one of very few people who have . Most people in entire world would have spent their entire life without even trying. Remember the first step is the hardest.

Do you feel like you're eating "healthy" but still not seeing the results you want?
Every time I speak to busy professionals like you, they’re always shocked why they can’t get the results they desire.
"𝘐 𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘑𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘦"
But does your healthy eating look something like this?
- Salad for lunch
- Cut out bread & pasta
- Cut out all sugar
If this sounds like you then there is a good reason why you’re not seeing results.
You’re creating a diet that is almost impossible to follow, it doesn’t fit your lifestyle or improve your relationship with food.
After a couple of weeks your weekends consist of "cheat meals” (overeating), which is why you can’t see results.
But you’re not alone, I’ve made this mistake in the past too.
I learned the key to a successful diet is balance. Here are 5 tips to help you create a balanced diet:
- Include a mix of protein, carbs & fats
- Plenty of fruit & veg but also the odd chocolate here & there
- Not labelling your foods good & bad.
- Have controlled low & high calorie days, not cheat meals
- Still eat bread & pasta
Give this a like if you found it helpful.
