On the 23rd of February we had the opportunity to meet online with Partners and Friends of the international🌍 FOLM project "From Outdoors to Labour Market", which came to an end after four years😢. The meeting was a nice opportunity to see each other again and to exchange recent findings and conclusions. There was no shortage of thanks🤝 and congratulations👏. As a Team of CIE Center for Innovative Education, we feel extra satisfaction and pride🤩 that we could serve as a project leader and collaborate in such a large team of experts🧑🏫.

Today we took stock🧐 of the FOLM "From Outdoors to Labour Market" project in Cantabria🇪🇸.
Apart from a lot of figures on statistics📊 and a reminder that Covid🦠 made our activities very difficult in all partner countries, a lot of words were said about how the use of Outdoor Learning can have an impact on empowering💪 young people in changing labour market conditions. There was also a long list of recommendations for policy makers.
CIE Center for Innovative Education President, Joanna Bochniarz had the honour to be one of the participants. We are very happy to be part of such international projects!🤩
Once again we would like to thank all the partners! The FOLM project is coming to an end, but Outdoor Learning will stay with us forever⏳☺️.

Project FOLM
The project From Outdoors to Labour Market benefits from a 3.400.000 € grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment. The aim of FOLM is to motivate NEETs to come back to studies or labour market thanks to Outdoors Learning.
From Outdoors to Labour Market” Project - FOLM - will examine if Outdoor Learning model can activate NEETs (990 from 3 countries in total) to develop life and professional skills thus enabling them to become active citizens. FOLM addresses the main challenge of youth who are unengaged in education, training or employment by providing a stimulating and innovative means for them to recognize strengths/talents, strengthen soft skills, build self-esteem/self-awareness and fortify attitudes for employment.
FOLM is led by the Center for Innovative Education and engages 7 other partners from Poland, Spain, Ireland and Scotland. Total project budget exceeds € 4 mln with donation of over € 3,4 mln.
