How to Get more inquiries for destination/travel weddings 👇🏽👇🏽
1️⃣ Market yourself as a destination wedding photographer!
This is where a little branding goes a long way. People don’t know what they don’t know! Definitely still put where you’re based, but let people know that you are willing to travel.
2️⃣TRAVEL
ACTUALLY travel and post about your travel, even if it’s just your own vacation! Post on your stories often and try to even plan shoots while you’re traveling! People are so much more likely to choose you if they know you already travel.
3️⃣ Post your travel schedule
Let people know where you’re going and when!!
Putting your travel schedule in your bio and on your website will get you more bookings in those places + help them to know that you travel.
4️⃣ Educate yourself
Hire a mentor that specializes in destination weddings, purchase courses, and just learn all there is to know about traveling AND how to plan a destination wedding. When your clients hire you they’re hiring an expert. They may hire a planner, but they may not! And you need to be able to help them plan out their special day and get all the information they need!
