Our first online auction and fundraiser was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who participated in bidding (whether or not you won) and to those who donated. Your support means the world to our little program and the youth who stutter that we support. If you won an auction item, we will be in touch this week and mailing out the goods.
Less than 24 hours left in our auction benefitting Camp More! Last chance to win some amazing stuff. Link in bio and stories.
Our first ever online auction kicks off at 7:00am Pacific Time on Saturday, 6/1! Please bid and support youth that stutter in the Pacific NW.
Unfortunately, due to significantly low registration numbers for the event, we are needing to cancel the community day. While this is disheartening and something our little nonprofit has never experienced, we are hopeful that we will be able to raise enough funds to offer the financial assistance needed, so that all youth who stutter that want to come to camp for a life changing experience can, regardless of financial constraints.
Thank you to those who did register and intended on attending.
On 6/1, instead of the in-person event, we will be kicking off an online silent auction with all of the amazing items that have been donated by wonderful companies and individuals.
More information and virtual auction link to come.

We hope to see many of our kids and teens there!

THANK YOU to all of our donors for helping us reach our year-end giving goal or $2000!!! YOU have helped us continue to support kids and teens that stutter through our More Meetups and overnight summer camp. Without community support through fundraisers like this, our programming and substantial financial assistance programs would not exist. Thank you.
From sports games to bowling to arts and crafts to holiday parties to hikes to kayaking to painting and everything in between, Camp More is so much “more” than just a summer camp. While camp is our main focus and main event, our Meetups (previously known as TOPS & KOPS- teens and kids out promoting stuttering), continue our mission of camp year round. Similarly to camp, we rely on fundraising in order to offer these events and to make them accessible to all. Thank you to everyone who has donated this year in general and more specifically, those who have donated during this end of year giving campaign where we hope to raise $2k to give us a head start on fundraising for 2024. We are so close!! Will you donate even just $5 to help us reach our goal? Link in bio and stories. advocacy
Thank you to everyone who has generously donated so far! We are getting so close to meeting our $2000 goal for year end giving! We are almost 75% there, and we are confident that we can get there because we know our support community is amazing! We have said it before, and we will say it again, that even a $5 donation is VERY much appreciated. That’s just giving up one Starbucks coffee this week! Just take a look at these faces. Your $$ makes this happen and makes it accessible for youth who otherwise would not be able to afford to participate. Thank you so much. Your contributions are changing lives. 💚☕️
We’re over halfway there! Thank you SO much to all of our donors. Let’s keep the momentum going and see how close we can get to reaching our year end giving goal by the end of the day today! Want to help but don’t have a lot to give?? That’s okay! Even just $5 is amazing and super appreciated. What to help but don’t have $5 to give, you can vote for us I. The first tech federal credit union season of giving campaign. There are just 2 days left in it and it takes less than a minute to vote. All links are in our bio and story. Thank you!
Donating to could be as much as giving up one Starbucks drink this week. Every single dollar counts, so even just $5 is HUGE! Please help us reach our year end giving goal of $2,000 by donating any amount you can. We are small nonprofit ran by individuals with full-time careers and families, and we depend on the support of the community to continue offering life changing experiences to kids and teens who stutter. If you’re not one who is familiar with stuttering or what it is/is not, you likely don’t know the internal impact it often has on individuals. Stuttering is not just stuttering. It is so much bigger than that. We at Camp More have a mission to encourage youth who stutter to do and say more because they often feel as if they are not valued. We work on increasing confidence and empowering our kids and teens to advocate for themselves while being immersed in a supportive and fun community. Our goal is never to change their speech but instead to change their lives. Please help us, help the many youth who are often misunderstood, underrepresented, and undervalued. Thank you for your consideration, support, and donations.
We’re almost halfway to our $2000 goal for year end giving! We at Camp More rely on community support to operate our overnight summer camp and our regular meet up events. Without your in-kind donations, we would not be able to offer financial assistance to participant families who otherwise would not be able to attend. Thank you for considering our little program for your Giving Tuesday and year end giving.
So many ways to support Camp More: Donate any amount to help us make our $2000 End of Year Giving goal, and vote for Camp More in First Tech Federal Credit Union’s Season of Giving Campaign! Even more, share with your family and friends. At Camp More, we believe that every child who stutters deserves a chance to do and say more and thrive while doing it! That’s why our year end giving campaign is so important. Your donation will go directly to towards supporting our financial assistance program, which helps make it possible for kids and teens who stutter to attend our life changing overnight summer camp and community meetup events. With your help, we can help nature that every child who wants to be a part of our community has the chance to do so. Thank you for your support.
Calling all kids and teens who stutter! Join us for our LAST MORE MEETUP OF THE YEAR! We will be getting together for some fun and friendship while painting ceramics (for gifts or ourselves) and enjoying some pizza. Find out more by heading to www.campmorenw.com/meetups and clicking on the link.
When we say that we would not be able to operate without the substantial gift from Portland State University’s Scottish Rite Speech and Language Clinic, we truly mean it. With rising costs of just about everything in the world, losing fundraising ground thanks to the pandemic, and increasing participants in our summer camp and regular meetups, it was going to take a miracle to survive. was that miracle. Words cannot express how grateful we are to them and the Scottish Rite for saving us, so that we can continue building our commuting of youth who stutter and encouraging them to do and say more.
Vote for Camp More in First Tech Federal Credit Union’s Season of Giving Campaign! The $10k we could win, would substantially help us continue to offer our overnight summer camp and ongoing regular community meetups throughout the year for our kids and teens who stutter! We are not a large nonprofit or corporation. We do not have any celebrity backers, we are not operated by a university, and we are not fully sponsored. It is up to us staff to fundraise every dollar it takes to run our programming and be able to be accessible to all families, regardless of financial barriers. Voting for us takes less than a minute of your time, and your vote could be the one vote needed to win! Please help us help our kids and teens who stutter by offering them our life enhancing experiences. Tis the season of giving afterall! Link to vote in bio. When it asks for the city/state, please list, Tigard, Oregon. Visit us at: www.campmorenw.com
