Happy Valentine’s Day!!
Do you celebrate it or ignore it?
I know nowadays it’s a commercialised holiday but the actual origins of the day long pre date the money spinning aspect of it. It was a pagan celebration of fertility and since the 17th century it started to become more and more popular as a romantic love celebration.
Funnily enough back home rather than usually saying Valentine’s Day, people call it Day of the Boyfriends/Girlfriends.
So to me it has always been something to celebrate with your romantic partner rather than anyone else you love.
So tonight husband and I will have a nice dinner at home and be grateful we have each other!

All products are handmade in my own studio and are, therefore, one of a kind as no two pieces will look exactly the same. All paper jewellery is also water resistant to ensure durability
