Tiger Toastmasters is having an Open House this week on Wednesday, March 1st! This will be a hybrid event. You can join us online on Zoom at Meeting ID: 938626560 or join us in-person at the LSU Student Union, Room 256J (on second floor in the Student Government Office), in Baton Rouge (70803 area code). We will have Phil Varona, a prior speech contest champion, giving a rendition of one of his contest greats. We will also have all of the fun of a regular Tiger Toastmasters meeting with a special focus on the basics for any newcomers. Come check us out!

We had another great meeting Wednesday evening discussing some of our fondest memories. Jasmine Paul completed the Motivational Strategies pathway and delivered a speech reflecting on the various projects she completed. We were thankful to have guests Jonathan Gonzales and Emily Stitch among the Tiger Toastmasters. We hope to see you at our next meeting on Wednesday June 22, 2022 at 5pm.🙂

Just another great meeting we had discussing our hobbies today! Also, congratulations to Santhi Perilloux for completing her Effective Coaching Pathway!

If you want to learn how to construct and deliver more effective speech evaluations, you will want to attend today's Tiger Toastmasters meeting. Phil Varona will be presenting a session where he will cover his process for preparing and delivering speech evaluations. Phil will specifically cover how to listen effectively, develop a strong structure for your evaluations and deliver your evaluations constructively. This process helped Phil win the District 68 Evaluation contest three times and it can help you become a more effective evaluator.
