Congratulations to Molly Smith Metzler, creator and showrunner for Netflix series MAID, and the entire team. Thanks to fans who have shared clips on TikTok, the show returned to Netflix’s Top 10. The series inspired by Stephanie Land’s The New York Timesbest-selling novel is about a young mother, struggling to take care of her daughter. Jenesse Center was honored to serve as consultants for the series that chronicles the lead character’s experiences in an abusive relationship. Jenesse shared insight into the inner workings of our shelters, and our input can be seen during scenes like this at the domestic violence center. It’s a wonderful series, and we’re happy to see it receiving more well-deserved attention. #netflix #maidnetflix #tiktok #tiktokclips #domesticviolencesurvivor #singlemother
