Use of Machines (steppers, ellipticals, climbers) – These machines provide consistent exercise for weight loss. They can be done indoors so there is no excuse to skip workout during bad weather. A vigorous 30-minute step aerobics routine will burn around 480 calories. However, old people, or people with body complications such as having a weak back or arthritic knee may have a hard time using these devices even when they are turned to the lowest setting.
