NEW CLASS - Yin:
Monday afternoons 4:30-5:30pm
This is a deep, mindful practice I affectionately call “floppy yoga.” The poses are passive (flopping into poses with no engagement) and held from 2-8 minutes which is amazing for releasing joints and connective tissue which don’t respond as quickly as muscles. You will love this restorative and beautiful practice!

Gentle Flow:​
Monday and Wednesday mornings at 8:45am
*this class is suitable for all levels and (most) abilities. The focus is on mobility as well as flexibility, balance, and strength. You'll take more time with the poses and be offered many variations to make the poses more accessible or challenging depending on your needs. It's lots of fun and you will love it! Each class is different and unique, however you will ALWAYS leave feeling amazing.

Flow Yoga:
Wednesday nights 7-8pm
*Flow yoga links movement to the breath as you flow through the yoga poses. It is a fun, creative, and dynamic practice that includes Sun Salutations to create heat and build flexibility and strength. It’s a joyfully sweaty and blissful class.

They are lots of fun and you will love it! Each class is different and unique, however you will ALWAYS leave feeling amazing. Promise.

This 6 week session goes from September 2nd to October 9th.

What is Mindfulness anyways ?

The best part is you NEVER have to stop your busy mind and it works in less than 5 minutes a day.

This 6 week class is based on neuroscience, positive psychology, and Eastern wisdom.

UPDATE: Evening Flow is now FULL

I know that a LOT of us are gearing up for the holidays, and busy with all the wonderful (and lets be honest - sometimes very challenging) things that come with them.

In fact, you might be so deep in it, that thinking about the New Year and what's happening in it, might feel like the farthest thing from your mind. I don't blame you. I'm shins to thigh deep in it everyday too.

AND, I also know that when the New Year comes, and that impulse for positive habits, health and happiness will fall upon you like an inspirational blanket like it does for all of us.

*In walks yoga - the magical transformative practice that (according to reputable sources - aka ME) will only change your life.

Strength, mobility, and flexibility are proven to be the most important things you can do to lengthen your health span (living as healthy as you can for as long as you can as opposed to "life span" which is only about living longer even if it's sicker).

Yoga has all 3, and truly anyone can do it, even if not everyone can do all styles of yoga.

Not only that, it also helps us on the INSIDE by regulating our nervous systems, increases resilience, calms our busy minds, increases our compassion for others AND ourselves, and feels really REALLY damn good.

If you don't know me as a yoga teacher yet, I'm good. Like really good. This is my jam. I've been a full time professional yoga teacher for over 16 years with a background in anatomy and physiology, positive psychology and a passion for social psychology and neuroscience. I'm a science ju**ie and yoga nerd.

Yeah, yoga can be seen as a little "woo," and what I'm most drawn to is that it is backed by so much science. I'll bet even your doctor has recommended it!

In any case, what I'm really trying to get at is this: Registration for yoga with me opened this week, HOOOOOORAY! So get your butt in here!

Did you know I have healthy breakfast treats as well?

The Omega 3 Breakfast Cookies are made with organic bananas, gluten free organic oats, organic chia seeds and flax seeds, walnuts, blueberries and refined sugar free. They are sweetened with just a tiny bit of maple syrup!

Happy & Healthy Granola Bars are a family favourite. Full of healthy seeds, nuts, h**p seeds, organic bananas, and dried fruit they are totally sugar free and will keep you going all morning.

OMG Banana Bread has organic bananas, gluten free organic oats, flax seeds, and is refined sugar free. They are topped with a crushed walnut and dairy free chocolate chip crumble just to make it a little extra!

All three of these are vegan, dairy free, and so SO GOOD. That’s why they always sell out 😉

Can we talk about morning routines for a minute?

To me, mornings are sacred.

Even before having my son, I loved getting up early to get in my morning movement and meditation.

I’ve learned the hard way that if I don’t do it first thing, it’s much harder for me to get it done.

Maybe it’s because my mind is still empty so I have less objections or pressure to start my to do list.

Maybe it’s because I can trust myself to follow through if it’s the first thing.

Maybe it’s because if it’s first, I feel like I’ve accomplished something important before my day has even started.

Maybe it’s all these things.

But what I notice most, is that when I start the day by taking care of me, I’m more patient, focused, calmer and happier. I simply have a better day.

So, I get up early to run 8km, do 10 minutes of yoga and meditate for 5-10 minutes before anything else, because “it makes me nicer.” 😂

“I can’t believe this is Gluten Free!”

Is what everyone says when they try my delicious gf baking. You will too, you’ll see!😉

I’ve been gluten free for over 10 years, and trust me, most gluten free baking is horrible. It never tastes as good as the “real” stuff.

Until now.

I’ve spent years trying hundreds and hundreds of recipes and tweaking them until you can’t taste the difference.

Food is my love language and I love to feed people the best highest quality deliciousness I can make.

Come see for yourself tomorrow at the Farmers Market!

I’ll have 4 different cupcakes:

Peanut Buttercream chocolate
Chocolate Buttercream on chocolate
Strawberry Buttercream on Vanilla
And Funfetti, because they’re fun!

I’ll also have:

Lindt dark chocolate chunk cookies
Omega 3 blueberry breakfast cookies
Banana chip oatmeal muffins
Lindt White chocolate lemon marshmallows

I’ll be there from 8-1!
