Before>>>After

Yesterday was mostly hard. By the end of the day, I was feeling unloveable. I chose to feel this way because of some actions that a friend made.

I have learned that when I choose to feel unloveable, it is a feeling worth fighting and proving wrong. In response to this feeling, I say to myself, “I wonder what good thing is coming, because a feeling like THIS just means my brain is trying to keep me from doing something AWESOME.”

Today, I decided to fight that feeling. I prayed for help. I studied the book of Proverbs, namely chapter 15 verse 32, “He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.” To me this says that if we are told we did something wrong, and choose to be hurt, then we feel unloveable. But if we choose to instead learn from it, we gain understanding. In verses 15 & 17, it says, “A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken… he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.”

I can choose to learn from my mistakes. I can choose to be merry and trust that I am lovable and of great worth.

I gained much of this clarity during my short, yet sweet 30 minute workout. And I feel so much better!

Did you know your mind is just another muscle that can be trained and REtrained? Isn’t that amazing!? When I first learned this, I was so excited! Any bad habit can be unlearned! This includes negative thinking patterns, depression, and other struggles. I am so grateful God made our bodies and our minds to be so able to be strengthened and refined! The workouts I’ve been doing have been helping me pour positivity into my mind and I’m loving it!

I can’t claim to know the perfect solution to every problem. My eating is far from perfect. My workouts are imperfect. My family is definitely imperfect (love you!). My business is imperfect - I mean, it’s RAN by ME for heavens sakes. 🤪

But I CAN claim, or rather PROCLAIM with loud gratitude!!!…
1. My food is fulFILLING! And brings me joy!
2. My workouts are fulfilling! And bring me JOY!
3. My family fulfills my SOUL! And brings me joy!
4. My business is SO fulfilling! And brings me joy!

None of it is perfect. I would never claim that! But perfect was never the goal. Perfection is not the same as joy and fulfillment. Having these things in my life - nutritious food, workouts, family, and coaching - All bring me an elevated level of happiness I could never experience otherwise!

Specifically, coaching in MY OWN business is something that elevates my life. This is the best way I can see to have a career as a stay at home mom! It’s on my time, connecting with people I care about, and offering solutions to them that personally fulfill my life.

I am full of gratitude, tho it may be “imperfect gratitude”, I’m here for it!

Are you ready to coach with me and/or work out with me? I promise you can. I want you to be part of this! Comment below with a “me!” Or send me a message! Or text!

💕I can’t wait to talk!💕

Some people like to workout early first thing in the morning. And that is awesome! I’m not really one of those people, though. I like to workout after I get my kids off to school. And working out at home works really nice either way because I don’t even have to take Gweny to the gym. And it doesn’t take up much space you guys!!! Wow! I burned about as many calories as a 3 mile run in this 30 minute workout in a small space of my room. Winning!

The best cure for loneliness is not to spend more time with other people, but to spend more time with yourself. I am EXTREMELY extroverted and thrive around people. But when I spend more time with myself, I feel more connected to myself and a lot less likely to feel lonely. I used to think I needed to work out with others to feel connected, but the true connection comes from within myself. That explains why when I work out alone with my I feel so much more connected with myself and naturally happier!

What is mental health? What improves your mental health right where you are today, in the exact position that you are in? I am so grateful for how healthy my mind and heart are today! I have created a really wonderful mindset, with a lot of help and guidance from my God and the loved ones in my life. One stepping stone that I have taken is learning to not be a victim to life circumstances!
-
-
A quote from Elise from my workout today says,
“You are the creator of your experience
You are not a victim of circumstance
You do not succumb to the energy around you if it does not align with the energy within you.”
-
-
You deserve everything you desire from your heart. And you create your experience regardless of your circumstance.
-
-
“Today you will create a day filled with purpose, with joy, with elevating your belief in yourself as you are right now.”
-
-
What are you going to create today?

Do you go on morning dates with your husband? Today, we went out for a morning date with friends and it set such a great mood for the weekend! It’s so nice to get out and be able to have full conversations with full sentences! 🤣 And to connect with each other and with friends. We enjoyed this waterfall hike so much!
-
-
-On the hike, we talked about momentum. How key it is! Day 3 of and I’m already feeling momentum starting to kick in! In my workout today, Jericho talked about time and how we always have enough time for what is most important to us! President Nelson said, “With frightening speed, a testimony that is not nourished daily ‘by the good word of God’ can crumble. Thus, the antidote to Satan’s scheme is clear: we need daily experiences worshipping the Lord and studying His gospel. I plead with you to let God prevail in your life. Give Him a fair share of your time. As you do, notice what happens to your positive spiritual momentum.”

What you prioritize high, you always have time for! 💕💕💕

I weighed in this morning. It is good mental work to see the number on the scale. That number is just a number. It is not a “problem.” It is a helpful, measurable, marker showing me where I am at! And I’m sooo excited about having gained some weight this past year! (More on that later!)

Oh my! I am loving these workouts! It’s called and it is a program that brings balance. One day is challenging cardio and lifting, and next day is gentle flow. I also love the of water first + veggies most. I am so pumped!

I’m back!
-
-
So here’s what happened. I got certified to be a personal trainer and a group fitness instructor! So fun! But last night I could barely keep up with my own class I was teaching (2nd pic). It was MOTIVATING! I need to be able to lead a class AND breathe!
-
-
So I started a new program today! And let me tell you, it’s going to be perfect. The lady who taught on the screen was so positive and motivating. Taking a fitness class goes so much deeper than just burning calories. It’s mental, emotional, and spiritual as well. And when you find a teacher that can help you in all those ways, you find gold.

I’m back!

Summer nails again! I just love getting multi colored!

I used to take a lot of selfies. I’m not proud of it. I remember one day looking at my photos and realizing there were fewer and fewer photos of my husband and kids on my phone. My priorities had gotten out of order and it was time for a change.

Years later, I’ve come back to social media in a totally different state of mind. Gary E Stevenson said of social media, “let us use it to teach, inspire, and lift ourselves and to encourage others to become their finest—rather than to portray our idealized virtual selves.”

Let’s use social media as a powerful tool for spreading goodness. A way to cheer people on and bless as many people as possible.

Keep moving. Keep going. Face your fears and take it one step at a time. Before you know it, you’ll be miles away from where you once were, and you can look back and smile on all your progress.
