The TM Crew has some very exciting news. You officially can turn your pup into a Tessa May Greeting Card for the holidays for all of our Southern California clients or if you are willing to plan a trip here. We will be booking a couple location spots in Orange County & Los Angeles. Stay tuned for dates and times. We will also be offering to design your custom greeting cards if you already have your own image for a lower price since we won’t need to do a photo shoot.

Christmas will be here before you know it. We will be booking mini photo sessions starting in October. Please message us if you have any questions. The TM Crew’s mission is to make sure that every senior dog lives out his/her life to the fullest, surrounded by love until the very end. They will never be alone or neglected, and we will make sure they cross the rainbow bridge with dignity and peace. 💛

It’s been an expensive month with vet bills and all of our senior dogs. My sweet boy Sprout is having something serious going on with his back legs so we need to sell extra cards so that we can take him to a specialist. I think it’s something with his nerves because if he sits too long he has a hard time walking and it’s like his legs fell asleep. I’m trying not to panic and I should have never googled it. 🙏

Our mission 🤍

Sending our love to Mamacitas family. This beautiful girl crossed the rainbow bridge last month. 🌈She will forever keep putting smiles on everyone’s faces when you purchase one of her greeting cards.

Mamacita was one of our fosters from a couple of years ago. She was an owner surrender with two other dogs. I said yes to fostering this beautiful girl before finding out she was pregnant. After picking her up 2 days later she had to have an emergency C-section. She gave birth to our Minka. It was a very dangerous pregnancy and we almost lost both of them. Minka wasn’t strong enough to eat on her own so I bottle fed her for the first week. It was an experience I’ll never forget and I’ll forever be grateful for Mamacita giving me the best gift. She was the sweetest girl, loved by her mom and loved the best life with her new family. She was so spoiled and happy.

We love you Mamacita and we promise to take care of Minka. She had your sweet personality, beautiful eyes and smile 💕

‼️SAVING ABBIE’S LEG‼️ Sweet little Abbie is three months old and only weighs 7 lbs. She was turned into the shelter after being found in a new development section in Lake Elsinore. She was in excruciating pain and best guess is she was hit by a car. It was already 2:00pm when the shelter contacted us desperate for help, so we got all hands on deck and were able to pick her up and rush her to our vet asap. The x-rays show a broken fibula/tibia compound fracture and crepitus in hock (torn ligament).

The good news is that her growth plates have not been disturbed and we can go in for surgical correction instead of amputation. The bad news is that it is the more expensive treatment plan but we feel this is the best choice for her quality of life. The cost for this compound surgery is going to be $2,500 and we can have the surgery done by our orthopedic surgeon as early as Saturday! Abbie is comfortably resting on pain managment and a split but we just need a little help from our supporters to raise the necessary funds to pay for this life-changing operation. Could you be part of saving Abbie’s leg? Abbie has proven to be a happy go lucky girl. She absolutely adores her humans and the company of other dogs. 🐾❤️

Life is hard and 2022 has been heartbreak after heartbreak but I know I have to keep finding the strength to keep going. My heart is devastated. But building my senior dog sanctuary I’ve dreamed about doing since I was a kid is what keeps me going right now and of course helping these sweet seniors in need.

Not dog related but Nicks life mattered. Last night was horrible and I’m devastated by the loss of our friend Nick. He loved his job, family and dogs. He lost his life serving our community in a helicopter crash. I still remember him lighting up when he would talk about his job and how they would catch the bad guys from the sky. Nick was always so kind and my heart is crushed. Please send love to his wife and daughter. I will be collecting cards, gifts and flowers. DM if you would like to send anything. 💔 Fly high Nick and thank you for protecting us but most importantly being such a great guy. ❤️

In honor of Charlie our very talented friend drew this painting of Charlie before he passed away. She has generously offered to donate the digital image to help raise money for our senior dog sanctuary coming soon in 2022. We are in the process of filing our nonprofit and purchasing the land in Joshua Tree. It’s a huge project and we will need tons of help, donations and volunteers to keep it running year round.

It’s been 4 weeks since Charlie’s unexpected passing and my heart misses him more than words can express. It’s been hard to focus and I feel like a walking zombie at times. Ive cried so much I keep wondering how I still have tears left. I think I’ll always have a piece of my heart missing. Charlie was more than a dog to me. He was my soulmate and helped me through some really dark moments. Charlie truly was so special not just to me but everyone that met him or has ever seen his smile. He was and is a bright light in this world. He’ll continue to inspire me and everyone that hears his story. I love you buddy and I promise I will keep saving the neglected, abused or abandoned senior dogs like you and they will be safe at our senior dog sanctuary in honor of you. I can’t wait until we can help more big and small ❤️

‼️FOSTER NEEDED‼️ Unfortunately our Birdie is losing her foster home at the end of the month and we really don't want her to end up in boarding. This stunning three-year-old Shepherd is ready to be your sidekick on all your life adventures. She is smart, loyal and needs humans in her life that will keep her active both mentally and physically. She is usually good around dogs but can be selective at times so best if she is your one and only. As a foster, all food, supplies and medical care are provided. If you can open up your heart and your home to Birdie please contact us asap!
