I've been checking out my own bandcamp page and just found this little cutie that I forgot about. Back in 2015, I got to go to Sweden with Sofie Reed and we wrote a couple tunes to be a little soundtrack to her Peace and Earth project. She's a big thinker with big ideas. Years ago, when Kate and Grant were little I had written a kid's book for them about Christmas and giving to Heifer International~ I think arts and crafts collided to make this song.

Speaking of Smoky Moonrise- that’s my stage name for my gigs this weekend.

Tonight in Bigfork MT I’m swapping songs with a talented young songwriter, Ava Suppelsa at the Swan River Community Center. (I think they sold all the tickets, but I’ll be playing again in Bigfork with my buddies John Floridis, Tom Catmull & Jenn Adams on August 20 at The Venue at Montana 45.)
Saturday, I’m playing at CenterFest in Lewistown and then Sunday with my pal, Quenby Iandiorio at Craft Local in Billings.
