Quite Frankly Builds
Welcome to the Quite Frankly Builds page! My name is Frank, and I build prop/sculptures. I primarily use wood as a base material.

Deviantart: http://finaformsora.deviantart.com/ I do my best to improve with each build, and I hope you all are impressed with my work. I'll be posting progress pictures, finished pictures, news, and answer any questions you have to my best ability here! Please feel free to look through the photo gallery!
Made this fairy door for an Xmas gift! There's a secret inner world only accessed with a key! The rest of the door opens without the key using the doorknob! Takes a 9v battery.
I'm strongly considering selling some on etsy for around $150 considering the technicality, designing, and hours put in. Let me know if that's something y'all are interested in!
Decided to post these progress pics and semi-current pics. I've gotta save up for casting materials. Also I went ahead and told my partner about it and they have it set up on their dresser while I save ☺️, but now I can post pics 😁
Here's an update on the sculpture I'm working on. I just got the constellation PCBs in and once I get it the extra parts soldered I'll post a pic of that!
A wishing tree! Found the branch in my yard and shaped it a little bit. Bought the wire at joanns. Broke a crystal in smaller pieces and wrapped them in the wire. Only took a couple of hours but man my hands hurt afterwards haha.
Is there an anime/video game/other weapon or item you haven't seen made yet that you'd like to see? Comment below and maybe I'll put it on the list!
I've been working on a new project recently as a gift. Aquarius! It's really invigorated my motivation to make things again! Once I finish smoothing and seal it, I'll be in the last phase which is the casting and electric phase.
I started with a clay model to look at and compare while carving.
I used a piece of pressure treated lumber because it's what I had laying around haha, but honestly anyone who's worked with pine knows that the grain is such a pain to carve with.
I used some poplar boards glued together and turned them on the lathe for the base.
I plan on making more of these to sell on etsy if anyone is interested for themselves or an aquarius you know that likes zodiac, or just as a centerpiece!
