As the regular season comes to an end, look for a flyer on closing ceremonies Aug 3rd, we are already beginning to think about next season with Duanesburg Little League. If you have any questions or feedback about this season as a coach, parent, or even a spectator, we would like to hear from you. In addition, there will be some vacant volunteer positions as well as a few Little League Board Positions available to fill. If you are interested, please contact us via email and we would be happy to walk you through the next steps. Every year district 12 pools the best players in the area to play in the District 12 Best of the Best Tournament. This great experience gives players a chance/game to put their talents on display and meet like-skilled/minded/dedicated players.
Duanesburg is honored to have the two below players represent us, AT HOME, this year in the Best of the Best. Let’s congratulate these players on a great season and wish them the best of luck in their games.

What an awesome first day for the 10u districts all-stars tournament hosted at our beautiful fields!

We have games every day for the next week. Stop on by and enjoy some incredible baseball and delicious food!

We just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge someone truly special within the Duanesburg Little League Organization. While there are so many deserving of recognition, there's one person in particular who has been giving it their all for what seems like forever. You may not always see him in the stands, but you'll definitely spot him behind home plate calling balls and strikes, prepping fields, or on a mower. I'm talking about Dean Bartholomew– he sets the bar for all volunteers. Dean is always down at the fields, putting in countless hours mowing and getting everything ready for game day. He does this despite his own son aging out years ago. Gavin actually learned from the best and now drives himself to join in on the field prep. Dean is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to fixing any problems that arise around the fields and he's just a blast to be around. Whether it's an event or just a regular day of games, Dean is there, ready to lend a hand and share a good laugh. And let's not forget about his umpiring skills – he's one of the most beloved umpires in the area, known for his fair but fun approach that always leaves everyone happy. Dean is just an all-around great guy who never hesitates to help out. He never seeks recognition and is always too busy working or joking around with me about my lack of equipment knowledge and inability to slow down. I bet you have your own Dean story too. Dean truly embodies the spirit of community and selfless dedication, and we're lucky to have him on our team.

Duanesburg Little League wanted to recognize another great season by one of our younger farm teams. Caribbean Pools & Spas went without a loss the entire season!
Thanks to players and coaches for a fun season.

We wanted to congratulate the 12U All-Star Team on a 3rd Place Finish in the District 12 AAA 12-U Tournament.
The team combined with Middleburgh to enter the tournament and ended their run this Friday in a 3rd place finish.
Despite only 1 lone practice, this team played really well together.

Duanesburg Little League wanted to congratulate Peterson Fuel Oil on an amazing undefeated season. The team did not lose, despite playing some pretty tough competition including a previously undefeated team.
Great job by all of the players and coaches, what a great season.
See you in the Fall!!!

We had a great end of season celebration for the Tee Ballers this past Saturday. It was a great day filled with baseball, fun, freeze pops, and hijinks. Thank you all that attended and made a special day for everyone involved.

We have collected 9 bags of 25 pairs of shoes for our shoe drive fundraiser! Help us reach 100 bags!!
It’s hard to believe that an estimated 300 million pairs of shoes go into America’s landfills.
Friendly reminder, our shoe drive fundraiser is collecting until June 30! If you have collected 25 pairs of gently worn, used, or new shoes, you may drop them off at Duanesburg Little League Concessions.

Thank you for helping keep shoes out of landfills, and creating opportunities for microenterprises in developing nations, all while supporting our Little League!
