Refinished projects aren’t my thing, I actually despise redoing furniture
But this piece is a genuinely good piece that I couldn’t just give up on
So after stripping down the old varnish sanding for what seemed like endless hours ( 24 total combined maybe )
Oil is dry and first coat varnish applied
I’m so happy with how it turned out
I was nervous about some blemishes but they all sanded out nicely and oiled up absolutely beautiful
I can’t believe I’m in the home stretch
