Happy Section Championship Day to all those who celebrate! The Hunters take on Grand Rapids at Rock Ridge to determine the 7AAA champ. 1 p.m. start. Denfeld needs a single win to advance to the state tournament, Grand Rapids has to defeat the Hunters twice to move on.

Practice action tonight will be from 5-7 p.m. at the legendary and beautiful Egerdahl Field in Proctor. Big thanks to the Rails and their very Hunter-y coaching staff.

Well, a lot has happened since our last post. A playoff win. Another playoff win. Then a third playoff win. Good stuff.
The Hunters practice Monday at Wade Stadium from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday is still TBD (both time and location), as is the Section Championship Wednesday.

Playoffs! Denfeld hosts Chisago Lakes today at 4:30 at Wade Stadium in the opening round of the 7AAA playoffs. Second-round is set for Thursday, opponent, location, and time TBD. But the Hunters will practice at Wade Stadium at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29.

Weather looks ... well, wet, potentially ... for This Week In Denfeld Baseball. Practice Monday at Wade from 4-6p, followed by Tuesday and Wednesday at Wade (7-9p, each night) and a final regular season game with Cambridge-Isanti on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. The Hunters practice Friday at Wade from 4-6p as well.

Weather looks good for This Week In Denfeld Baseball *knocks on wood* - Monday practice at Wade (6p), Tuesday a little LSC tilt with Proctor at Wade at 6:30p, Weds in Cloquet vs. the Jacks, practice at Wade Thurs (7p) and Fri (4p) followed by a fun Saturday with two home games.

Scheduling updates; as we are playing Chisago Lakes at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, May 10, with the bus leaving at 12:15 p.m. from historic Denfeld High School.
Additionally, pictures will now be taken at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 16.

The Remainder of the Week in Denfeld Baseball; indoor practice Thursday at the historic Denfeld gymnasium from 6-8 p.m. and then Friday, we head to Chisago Lakes for DHs (V and JV) beginning at 3:30 p.m.

Rain update for today and scheduling update for Thursday ...
Tuesday, at the historic Denfeld gymnasium from 6-8 p.m. and then Thursday we also move into the gym from 6-8 p.m. as Wade schedule changes. In the middle, on Wednesday, we are still heading to Grand Rapids for a key section/conference tilt.

The Week Ahead in Denfeld Baseball - Monday we practice at Wade at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday at Wade at 5:30 p.m.; Wednesday we trek to Grand Rapids for double bacon cheeseburgers, and Thursday is PICTURE DAY at Wade starting at 7 p.m. (We will wear uniforms, not suits and ties).

Some schedules are shifting to start the week for the Hunters. We start inside the historic Denfeld gymnasium Monday at 5:30 p.m. for practice, Tuesday we now leave at 1 p.m. for a 4 p.m. game at St. Francis. And Wednesday we are playing the Hibbing DH at 4 p.m. (V at Wade, JV at Wheeler #5) rather than trying to do that in the rain Thursday.

Game Day! Hunters host the Hilltoppers at 7 p.m. at Wade Stadium for the V contest and 7 p.m. at Wheeler #5 for the JV contest. Practice tomorrow is set for 5:30 p.m. at Wade (nice weather) or the gym (not nice weather).

Game Day! And updates! Hunters host Superior today at Wade Stadium. 4:30 p.m. first pitch for V, JV to follow at Wade. Then practice on Tues and Weds at 7:30 p.m. at the Marv and the historic Denfeld gymnasium.

Mother Nature wins again. No game today in Chisago Lakes, as the field isn't bouncing back from rain and snow from earlier today. No practice today or tomorrow, so next up for the Hunters is hosting Superior at Wade in a cross-bridge conference contest Monday.

We gave it a shot, but the rain and wind had other ideas. We will reschedule with Marshall soon. In the meantime, practice tomorrow is at 7 a.m. at the gymnasium, and the game vs. Hermantown has been moved to noon on Thursday at Wade Stadium.

A time change in order to minimize rain exposure and maximize baseball exposure; the Hunters will host at 3:30 p.m. today at historic Wade Stadium. An hour earlier than originally scheduled.

Spring break at Denfeld is full of baseball. Weather permitting, here is the plan: Practices at Wade on Monday and Wednesday at 8 p.m., some sweet game action at Wade on Tuesday (Marshall School) and Thursday (Hermantown), and a road trip on Friday (Chisago Lakes).

Game Day! (And updates). A little cross-town tilt with the Hounds of at historic Wade Stadium beginning at 4:30p with V, JV to follow. Then your Hunters take on Wednesday at Wade instead of Thursday in the rain.
Fundraising blitz day (and maybe some practice)! We meet at 3:45 p.m. in the Commons to crank out the rest of those cards!

It is a great day today and tomorrow to sell all the rest of your fundraising cards, Hunters! Then, when the blitz starts on Monday at 3:45 p.m. in the historic Denfeld gymnasium, we can just hang out and eat pizza, plan our team trip to Buffalo Wild Wings, and get ready for our Tuesday game.
So, sell the rest of your cards, and we will see you (and all the money you raised selling all of your cards) on Monday at 3:45 p.m. in the gym!

Game Day, Hunters. Denfeld hits the road for a pair (V and JV) of contests at Rock Ridge. First pitch for V is 4:30 p.m., first pitch for JV is not too long after the last pitch of V.
Hunters regroup with practice tonight at the gym at 5:30 p.m. for hitting, and the varsity heads over to Wade at 8 p.m. for a bit of chilly outside work.

Opening Day, Hunters! Denfeld hosts Hermantown today at historic Wade Stadium. Varsity only, with first pitch set for 4:30 p.m.
Officially postponed Opening Day until April 3. The same teams (Denfeld and Htown) will meet tomorrow at Wade Stadium. V only at 4:30 p.m., no JV.
Mother Nature remains undefeated.
Practice tonight at the historic Denfeld gymnasium at 5:30 p.m.
Our April 1 practice is set for the gym at Denfeld from 5:30-7:15 p.m. The plan is for our first game to be ON for Wade Stadium tomorrow vs. Hermantown. Many Hunters still need to finalize all parts of their registration.
