We need volunteers for running concession stands! If we fill all of the spots we raise $300 that directly goes to our track and field program! The NVAC supports our program every year and this is us doing our part!

Twilight Meet 2023!

Morning Runners,

We will be having practice at 9AM at the Middle School this morning as announced. Plan to be working out in the gym and fitness center. (indoors) Don't worry...you'll still be tired when we're done!

Also, the high school office will be open by 7:30 ​AM if you still need to clear!

* Our first practice will be at the middle school on Monday August 21 at 9am. (need to beat the heat)
* Practices will be 9AM from the Middles School Monday - Friday (21st - 25th)
* Bring your own water bottle :)

We have been asked to help run the concession stands this year during basketball games. We are looking for parent or adult volunteers to sign up for a date to help with concessions. We have the JV game covered for Monday Jan 2nd. But need to fill out the varsity game with 4 more volunteers!

We are also scheduled to do the 1/26 boys game. We have the JV game ​covered that day and need to fill our varsity spots for that game! Please respond ​here with your ​name, email and your selected times. You can also send me a direct message!

We are scheduled to help 1/02 and 1/26. At both the JV & Varsity Games. These are both boys games, so girls basketball parents I understand you not being able to be there. We need 3 volunteers for the JV games and 5 for each varsity game! Please respond with availability! We really appreciate your time.

Cross Country practice will start on Monday @ 10am from Nooksack Valley Middle school! Please make sure you are cleared from the high school! We are so excited to start a great season!!

Fun summer run! Join us on Wednesdays at 5pm!

Cross Country Runners! Starting this Wednesday at 5pm we will begin our summer training! Meet at NVMS to join us for an evening run and begin training for the fall! Wednesday running begins June 22 and goes until July 27th! Love to have anyone interested in running join us! If you have any questions please reach out to Coach G 425-275-3458. These runs will be supplemental to other runs you do throughout the summer! Can't wait to see you out there!

Kate Desilet raced in the Prelims of the 100m dash today! She ran a PR of 13.07!

Kate Shintaffer is heading to STATE in the Javelin! Throwing 98’7” she placed 4th in Bi-Districts!

🚨 School Record Alert 🚨

Tonight at Districts - Faith Bartl, Kate Shintaffer, Tehya Moore and Kate Desilet broke Nooksack’s previous 4x200m relay record of 1:50.50 (set in 1994) with their own time of 1:50.32!

We are proud of you!

Fun fact - Faith and Tehya were also a part of the 2018 4x200m relay team that broke the previous Nooksack Middle School record of 2:02 (set in 1999) with a time of 1:59.29!

Field events begin at 3:45 PM and Track events begin at 4:00pm!

Another first place finish today for Tehya Moore with a 34’1.5” Triple Jump!

Kate Desilets placed 2nd in the women’s 100meters! 13.65 seconds!

Ryan Hughes places 3rd today in the Triple Jump with 38’9”!

With a throw of 41’1.5” Gerrit Bruland places 3rd in the shot put!
