It's been a long time since I've had consistent activity on this page. I am getting rebooted and rewired for keeping myself inspired and committed to activity and movement in my day. This page is meant to be an inspiration and a source of encouragement to stay active and move the only body you are given.

Slept through your alarm & didn't make it to the gym this morning? Battling a full day? Take 5-10 min to get that blood pumping! Your metabolism will rev & keep your body burning more calories throughout the day! Only have a quick couple minutes at lunch-- complete 5x, want the full whammy-- complete 10x! For a challenge- raise those arms way overhead on your squats!

Guilty. I hate cross training. But I can't get around it.

The Pool. My sworn enemy. Ok that may be a little over exaggeration, but the last thing I want to do at 6:30 or 7am is get in the pool (I have nightmares of morning practice from my college diving days).

I had to tell myself to suck it up. And my body is thanking me.

Have you tried changing it up and adding in a pool day? Why try?

-Less pressure on your joints
-Reduction in swelling in an injured area (the pressure of the water will assist in fluid movement, moving swelling out of the injured area
-Easier movement, and mobility gains (water supports and assists movement)
-Gain or maintain cardiovascular health without straining injured or overused joints and muscles
