Classic Soccer Club is a highly competitive youth soccer club located in the Southeast Valley. Who is Classic? Striving to be the best in everything we do.

Classic was created to start a high-level soccer program that is fun but challenging. As a club, we expect both growth and achievement from our coaches and players. The foundation of our club is around player and coach development. At Classic, we have high expectations of our coaches to teach and compete at the highest level. Although not all teams will start with the best talent, it is our job to

coach these players up to the highest level they can achieve. At Classic, our program is designed to take average players to a high level and advanced players to an even higher level. We are seeking players that will take direction and work hard to achieve their team and personal goals. Classic coaching
The Classic coaching philosophy begins with finding the right coaches that fit our culture and vision. Classic selects coaches that are skilled in teaching and have performed well in their past. Members of our coaching staff have played in the MLS, the World Cup, their respective National Teams, professionally in many parts of the world, and collegiately. The Classic Development Curriculum
Classic’s focus on development is driven by our Director of Training. His involvement and interaction with the coaches to make sure they follow our plan and the player’s personal development plan is the difference in consistently improving players. Our Director of Training has been involved in sending numerous kids through scholarship to college and to play professionally in the United States and abroad. At Classic we work hard to provide the best soccer training, speed and strength development training, goalie training, nutritional planning, and mental preparation our professionals can. We believe kids learn from observing the discipline of their leaders. This structure can help them in their soccer career and their future. The Classic College Preparation Program
Classic’s preparation for college is unique to the SE Valley. Classic has two coaches that have organized two of the largest college showcases in the country. Through these showcases our coaches have collaborated and developed strong relationships with college coaches throughout the country. This insight provides us with the information needed to create our curriculum and moves our kids one step closer to their goal. Once the kids are at the age where colleges are interested in them, our coaches and Director of Training become involved in communicating with the prospective universities coaches. We also will work with the kids and their families to make sure they have the right promotional tools to help gain exposure if we don’t already have a relationship with that school’s coaching staff.

There's still room!!

Classic will be hosting two soccer camps in June for Classic players, Classic Ahwatukee Players, and incoming players. One week will be for boys and another for our girls group. These camps will provide players with 5 days and 4 nights of excellent instruction on two full sized beautiful fields as well as a whole lot of fun on this ranch located just outside of Tucson in the town of Benson.

Age Groups
Boys and Girls above 07's are able to attend.
Deposit
There is a $250 deposit due by April 1 st and the remaining balance is due by May 31 st .
Instruction
Classic Coaching sessions to be run by Classic Coaches. The Classic coaches involved have coached or trained Brad Evans from the Seattle Sounders, Robby Findley who played on the US National Team and in three world cups for South Africa, and current US Women's soccer player Julie Johnston to just name a few.
Facilities
Dormitories with Bunk Beds on site.
What if parents would like to attend and stay
Parents are welcome to attend the sessions in the daytime. Parents will be required to stay offsite at a hotel in Benson which is reasonably priced.
Player Oversight
There will be Chaperons for both the Boys and Girls groups. Please inquire if this is something you are interested in.
Transportation
Parents will be responsible for dropping off the kids on Sunday and picking them up on Thursday . We will be carpooling but it is your option.
Food
Food is included in the overall fee of the camp. Please make us aware of any food allergies or any other limitations one week prior to arrival.

AFSC would like to congratulate our Bella Glavin (99/00 Girls) for being invited to attend the AZ Region IV Sub-Regional ODP camp later this spring in Flagstaff.

She was named based on her training and play in the ODP games that took place in January. Bella has represented Arizona on the 2000 ODP team 4 years running.

This is a huge honor to be selected and a great opportunity for Arizona players. Congratulations to Bella!!!

Coach Marvin Hypolite and his Desert Vista team will play against Coach Barb Chura and her Xavier team for the State Championship.

Congratulations to Coach Marvin Hypolite and the Ahwatukee Boys 03/04 team for their 2nd place win in the Kick for the Cure Tournament!

Ahwatukee won their first two games (1-0, 3-2) to make the semi-finals. After winning 2-1 in the semis, the team advanced to the finals but lost to the Roadrunners YSC in a close 1-2 game. Well played, 'Tukee!
