“I Think Of You On Christmas” is out on streaming platforms today 🌲
The last time I wrote a Christmas song was for a school project and I felt mildly uncomfortable making something so holly jolly. I like to inject the bitter into the sweet, and for my music to be honest it has to be just that. So, this is my Christmas card to my dad 👼
It almost feels obligatory to be your ultimate joyous self throughout the festive time, but there will always be the little reminders woven into your holiday memories that conjure those bittersweet feelings surrounding loss. I I think it is important you know, to process all of that. And on those cold dark days, hug the people you love and keep the traditions going. Keep the memories alive. Be wistful, be hopeful, be grateful.

So this is hands down the most fun, innovative and collaborative track I’ve worked on to date!! A lovely Christmas song, with a whole choir of voices, a multitude of instrumentation, so much hard work and careful engineering.. it’s quite a masterpiece really and there’s even a bloody dinosaur in it.
