[This applies to all city parks and green spaces.]
Please read over carefully and thank you for doing your part to save lives.

It's hard to adjust to spending more time in your home. We're all feeling compelled to get outside and stretch our legs in the outdoors, and parks like ours offer a much-needed reprieve. But we have to keep parks as safe places by practicing social distancing and preventing overcrowding.

What does that mean? Here are some practical tips:
• Pay close attention to guidance in your community before heading outside. Tennessee executive order currently prohibits social gatherings of 10 or more people.
• Avoid times and places of high use.
• Keep your groups to three people or less—preferably people in your household.
• Per CDC coronavirus guidelines, maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from everyone on park grounds, parkings lots and on the trails.
• If you approach others on the trail or anywhere else, safely step to the side to allow at least 6 feet of distance for passing.
• As much as you can, stick to activities and areas that are within your regular routine. Take it easy.
• Be considerate and kind to others. We're all in this together!
