The MIA's Boticelli exhibit is truly stunning! I was able to get a bit of a private tour by the co-curator Rachel McGarry - and play my fiddle in front of his only self portrait in "Adoration of the Magi" (Not nervous at all 😬)
Try to see it before it closes on Jan 8 (the works go straight back to Florence, Italy - this is a one stop tour!)
You can see the full video with fascinating insights (from Rachel):

Looking forward to my student Grace Weitzel's performance of Prokofiev's 1st Concerto with GTCYS Symphony on Monday night! Grace and GTCYS sounded sublime in the rehearsals I heard under the masterful leadership of Maestro Smith - Bravi Tutti!
“Performing one of my favorite pieces as a soloist with a full orchestra, with many of my close friends, is such an incredible and unique opportunity that has long been an aspiration of mine,” says Symphony soloist Grace Weitzel.
Don’t miss your chance to hear Grace perform in Symphony’s first full concert of the year at 7pm on Monday at Ted Mann Concert Hall. Purchase tickets online at https://buytickets.at/gtcys to attend in person, or tune in to the free livestream: https://www.youtube.com/c/GTCYS1972
