There was some discussion today in a Facebook group about the fact that some stallholders at craft fairs are selling wax melts, soap, cosmetic items, etc. without adhering to the relevant UK legislation regarding selling. All such items must have an appropriate safety assessment and must be notified to the UK cosmetic notification portal before they can be offered for sale.
Rest assured that all my soaps and shampoo bars have been safety assessed (and it's not cheap to get this done!) and have been notified to the portal for sale in the UK.
