Thermocuisine
Savoir-faire of cooking using the Thermomix.
Can’t wait to start making Christmas cookies
Used the Bundt tin again to steam the bread while making the soup. When I was making the pesto I used a really cool accessory that my friend gave me. It is like a false lid and keeps the herbs down at the base of the bowl.very handy. The bread was interesting, it was a bit spongy so I put it in the hot oven for an extra 10 minutes and it is like a bagel.

Making use of my Bundt tin. Went for Moroccan as i made thai last week. Pearl couscous in the tin while the chicken is cooking. I also used dried peaches with the apricot. Very delicious.

I bought the bundt tins to cook the rice in the varoma.
First cooked the quick chicken curry and added broccoli with the potatoes and carrots. Very delicious, skipped the peas due to complaints in the household. I personally love peas (threw in spinach without them knowing). I had the varoma with the rice and boiling water on the top but it wasn’t high enough temp. After the meal was cooked. Popped it in the server and added 1 litre of water to the bowl and cooked for 15 mins on varoma speed 1. Bit hard so added another 5 minutes. Worked well.
Next time I will follow the cookidoo recipe. 🙄

Nothing better on a Sunday than dinner cooking its self in the back ground. I had hamburger patties that had to be used by today so repurposed them into meat balls. Popped them in the themo when it called out for mince. Same, same. Instead of 3 hours I cranked it up to 5 hours slow cooking mode. They came out perfect and not dry due to cooking in the sauce. It was a little bit spicy due to hubby squeezing in some chilli paste when I wasn’t looking. Tasted great. 😂🌶️

I made the sauce in the thermomix and steamed home grown silver beet as the sauce was cooking for 20 mins. Family loved the sauce, I will stuff cannelloni with the filling next time.
Spinach ricotta stuffed shells Stuffed shells - don't mess around with hot floppy pre cooked shells! Just stuff them raw and bake in loads of sauce. Works 100% perfectly!

Extra Puffy Brazilian Cheese Puffs! (Pão De Queijo) - Quirky Cooking We love it when my sister makes us Brazilian Cheese Puffs!! ???? They never last long unless I hide some, so she usually makes a double batch, and we keep half the batter in the fridge for the following day. They are the BEST hot out of the oven, sliced open and slathered with butter... YUM!!!! But....
Dinner for tomorrow has been selected. It is so cold in Melbourne

Time for cinnamon scrolls. I used the super soft recipe but didn’t bother with the fancy icing. Once they cooled down i made a simple icing with water and lemon juice to cut the sweetness. Very well received. Forgot to take a photo with the icing. Might have to make more and take to work. Sharing is caring and then I don’t get to eat all of it.

Zucchini, zucchini, zucchinis. Super harvest from the garden. So far I have made zoodles, and impossible quiche (similar to zucchini slice). Might make muffins next.
Quiche season has started. Great recipe for quiche paste. I also add a couple of cardamom pods or rose water.

Quince Paste The mix-and-cook facility of the Thermomix makes apparently tricky orchard fruit pastes a cinch.
Wood fire pizza for dinner. The dough has been proving for 48hr. So easy to stretch and very light with fuffy crust.

Brazilian Cheese Puffs (GF) Easy lunch or snack, just need to wait 1 hour resting in the fridge to let the batter thicken but even better overnight.
I keep the jug in the fridge and make a couple at a time in the airfryer. 200oC 15mins.

Still cooking up tomatoes 🍅 and there are more ripening on the vines. Making a big batch of passata (Dani Valent recipe). Similar to cookidoo but slightly different. 1.5kg of tomatoes reducing into delicious sauce.
