Students of classes VII-VIII unveiled their power of concentration and perseverence participating in Inter House Rangoli making Competition.The skilful artists of all four houses won the festive hearts with the vibrant,festive colours on the occasion of Diwali.
They all were praised to the skies by all the bystanders.

A group of kindergarten kids had an exciting trip to Bouncy Planet, a place full of giant, bouncy inflatables. They had a fantastic time jumping on trampolines, sliding down colorful slides, and running through soft obstacle courses. Teachers and para-staff were there to keep them safe while they played. It was a fun-filled day, and everyone had a blast!

Energy and persistence conquer all things.

Our school's martial arts champion Arjun of class VIlI-B has once again brought laurel to our school at 8th Sukai Cup 2024 Karate Championships by securing 1st position in Kata and 3rd position in Kumite in sub-junior categories held at Ghaziabad on Oct12, 2024.

He has been honoured with Gold and Bronze Medals in addition to Certificates of Outstanding Performance.

We congratulate and wish Arjun more success in the future.

*Thali Decoration: A Vibrant Celebration of Eco-Friendly Diwali*

To celebrate the festive spirit of Diwali, our school organized a 'Thali Decoration' competition for Diwali Pooja, showcasing students' artistic talents and commitment to sustainability. Students from Classes V and VI crafted beautiful 'Thalis' using natural,eco-friendly materials like dry leaves, flowers, rice grains, clay, and recycled papers. Intricate designs, vibrant flower arrangements, and innovative patterns showcased students' creativity.

School Principal, Neena Doureja, applauded the students' efforts, encouraging their artistic expression and environmental consciousness.

A moment of immense pride for the Dewanian family! Dev Pratap Singh (7th) and Sparsh Kumar Kaushal (8th) have brought home consolation prizes from the prestigious Bharat Ko Jano Competition (Round 2) held on October 5, 2024!

Such an exciting day at school today as our classes III to VI students showed off their culinary skills in a fun-filled non-fire cooking activity.🌮🍹

From innovative salads 🥗to delightful desserts🍧, from inventive sandwiches 🥪 to mouthwatering chaat 🥘, each dish was beautifully presented.

The activity was a fascinating display of skills and imagination. 🥙🥯

Dr. Jyoti Singh, a renowned Clinical Dietitian and Nutritionist, visited our school to guide students on the importance of health & nutrition. Awarded the prestigious National Nutrition Award by the Ministry of AYUSH and the Healthcare Oscar National Award for Best Nutrition and Dietetics by Milkha Singh, she shared valuable insights into healthy eating habits. Her interactive session empowered the children with practical tips on maintaining a balanced diet, essential for their growth and well-being.

Dewan Public School hosted the prestigious Natraj Handwriting Competition on 10 September, 2024 where talented students showcased their fine motor skills and creativity. After meticulous judging, the winners were declared: Anika singh (VD) secured the first position with her exceptional handwriting, clarity, and artistic flair; Anaya Sangwan (V A) earned the second spot with her neat and consistent handwriting; and Aradhya ( VB) took the third position with her creative lettering and attention to detail. Congratulations to the winners and participants for their outstanding effort, and special thanks to Natraj for collaborating with Dewan Public School to promote the art of handwriting.

Dewan Public School Embarks on Interfaith Educational Visit aimed 'Sarv Dharam Samman'

Students of classes IV & V of Dewan Public School embarked on a profound educational trip to three revered religious sites – the Church, Dogra Temple, and Gurudwara Sahib – promoting 'Sarv Dharam Samman' (Respect for All Religions).

- At the Church, Father [Priest] shared valuable insights: "Love and compassion know no bounds of religion."

- At the Dogra Temple, Pandit Ji guided students in reciting bhajans and seeking blessings: "Respect for all religions is the foundation of harmony."

- At the Sheeshe vala Gurudwara, students witnessed prayers, received Karah Prashad, and learned about community service.

This interfaith educational visit was a resounding success, shaping the students into empathetic, open-minded, and spiritually aware individuals.

Navratri Celebration: Tiny Tots' Dandiya Delight

"या देवी सर्वभू‍तेषु मां सिद्धिदात्री रूपेण संस्थिता। नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः॥"

Our pre-primary students wowed the audience with their vibrant Dandiya performance, a celebration of the nine nights of Navratri.Dressed in traditional attire, their energy and enthusiasm created a magical atmosphere. Their tiny feet moved in perfect harmony, and their smiles were contagious. As they danced, they honored the divine feminine and the triumph of good over evil.

NATURE TRAIL to Surajkund Park was organised on
8 October’24 for class 3 students on the theme -
CLEANLINESS.

The purpose of the trail was to increase awareness about clean surroundings and to emphasise on the importance of flora and fauna.

Tiny-tots reaped the benefits of morning walk , planted trees, explored the beauty of nature and had a fun filled day followed by a small picnic.

Through their beautiful placards, students conveyed the message-

‘Cleanliness is a vital part of a healthy life and should be an important part of our daily habits.’

Our school witnessed the remarkable Super Hero activity for Classes II-III, last week. The young voices resonated with beautiful reflections on their ideal personalities, proving that true role models inspire us through compassion, empathy, and kindness. Their impactful words served as a powerful reminder that greatness lies not just in actions but in the values we uphold.
