Time magazine and OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, are teaming up in a multiyear content licensing deal, Axios reports, in a bid to access a younger, more diverse global audience. OpenAI will use the magazine's 101-year-old archive and real-time content to train its AI and answer user questions. OpenAI will also credit Time in its responses to user queries and include links to the original content on Time.com. In exchange, the magazine will deploy OpenAI to create new products and provide feedback to enhance AI-driven journalism. OpenAI recently struck content deals with The Atlantic magazine and Vox Media.
