Prior to embarking on this 617km run, Glenn envisioned crossing the finish line at Emerson's Brewery late Saturday π
However, 96 hours and counting of relentless running have taken a toll. An old injury resurfaced early on during the run, causing significant pain and slowing Glenn's pace to a hobble. Combined with physical exhaustion, Glenn is having to stop more frequently. But amidst the challenges, Glenn's crew have been outstanding, doing all the right things for his injury - strapping, icing, elevating, and providing pain meds. Yet, true to his unwavering determination, Glenn persists, pushing through the agony πͺπΌ
Glenn won't be reaching Emerson's today as planned, and we can't predict his arrival time.
However, you can follow his tracking link for updates.
Once Glenn hits the 500km mark, we'll provide 10km countdowns on his Facebook and Instagram stories to keep you updated! β°π
Big thanks to everyone for the support so far! Let's continue rallying behind Glenn and Farmstrong until he reaches that finish line. Let's keep it up! ππΌ

We would like to express our deepest condolences to the Davis and Dowling families and all that loved Lachie.
We lost one of our own last week.
Lachie was a powerful runner, hard defender and a top guy!
Lachie played for Strath since 2019, clicking up around 65 games, he was always a polite, friendly face around the club and an absolute brut on the field.
We were lucky to have Lachie be part of our club
Rest easy Lachie ππ
