Advanced students accepted into this four-week program will develop as an ensemble of actors through a rigorous workout that incorporates Suzuki movement, Viewpoints, Character Lab and scene study, and culminates in a final performance. Techniques studied include work
ing from Michael Chekhov’s method of psychological gestures, shifting centers, full face photographs, collected live studies, vocal and tonal shifts, rhythmic and metabolic changes as well as specific, deft and profound scene work. The techniques are practical and detailed, the work is focused, challenging and fun and the underlying curriculum is designed to give the student a new set of tools to aid in theatrical transformation. There will be no class on Monday, May 27 in observance of Memorial Day. Accepting 10-12 students (5-6 male / 5-6 female)
