As a friend told me, these boots are perfect if you want to avoid scorpions 🦂 in the desert 😅😅. Joke aside they are very well made and solid.

EN: ✂️ Upcycling News ✂️

I’m very excited to announce that new upcycled unisex kimonos and vests will be released in the coming week! I will reveal one by one each models. It has been a while since I have released any and I must say the cancellation of sewing classes during the second and third lockdowns, the lack of upcoming festive events and of available working spaces had all been demotivating for me and have taken a toll on my creativity.

This being said, with the encouragements of the magic tales community ❤️ and the ongoing requests I have decided to restart the upcycling work.

Right now I’m working with vintage Japanese kimonos or second-hand locally sourced in Belgium and France that are all washed and to which touch-ups are made prior to working on them.

I come up with unique designs for each of them and embellish them with second-hand Indian fabrics and sequins. If you have any questions do not hesitate to reach out!

Je suis super contente d’annoncer que de nouveaux modèles de kimonos et vestes unisexes upcyclées sortiront dans la semaine à venir! Je vais révéler un par un chacun des modèles. Ça fait un moment que je n’ai pas lancé de nouveaux modèles et j’avoue que l'annulation de mes cours de couture lors des deuxième et troisième lockdowns, le manque d'événements festifs à venir et d'espaces de travail disponibles ont tous pesé sur ma créativité et motivation.

Cela dit, avec les encouragements de la communauté de Magic Tales ❤️ et toutes les demandes pour des kimonos customisés, j'ai décidé de reprendre le travail d'upcycling.

En ce moment, je travaille surtout avec des kimonos japonais vintage et vestes seconde main obtenus localement en Belgique et en France qui sont lavés et sur lesquels j’effectue des retouches avant de les customiser.

Je propose des designs uniques pour chacun d'eux et les embellis avec des tissus indiens de second main et des sequins. Une question, des doutes, n’hésitez pas à me contacter ! 🙏

I don’t know about you but I love jeans. I used to wear Levi’s 501s in the 90s, then low cuts, then skinnies and now mom jeans 😊. I went through them all!
