The Day After
NEW SINGLE "BURNOUT" STREAMING EVERYWHERE NOW. https://social.tunecore.com/linkShare?linkid=xHPl3w4P
15 years ago I stepped to the center of the stage with a microphone in front of me for the first time to play punk rock with my friends. The journey since then has been long and rewarding and stressful beyond belief. This whole thing has lasted longer than I thought I’d be alive, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
“I’m still here; I’ll keep pushing though the road stretches on.”
I’ll forego the long, introspective post this time but only for the sake of instead expressing my gratitude. Normally this would be a collective post, but I’m only speaking for myself () today. and (and and )[AND and ], you all mean the world to me, and what all you’ve done to keep the music alive with me through these years is a debt I’ll never be able to repay. Your unwavering belief in me, and us, and our endeavors, has made me the person I am today, and I’m honored and humbled to be surrounded by such incredible folks.
I could thank a million more people, but to the venues at which we’ve played, bands with which we’ve played, and friends to whom we’ve played: Sincerely, thank you. This year has been a slow one for us, but I promise there’s a lot more in store for 2024.
‘til this hope puts me back in the ground…

Friday. Snag it. Support.
Exciting announcement - we've put together a Bandcamp compilation with ~30 Indianapolis bands to raise money for the Palestine Children's Relief Fund. We reached out to our friends, to bands we have a lot of respect for, to bands we hope to play with in the future, to our future friends. We'll be releasing the compilation this Friday, 11/24.
100% of the money raised (minus whatever fees Bandcamp takes) will be going directly to the PCRF. The Compilation will be available for $10 or you can pay more if you'd like and are able to.
As a very small band, we believe in standing up for those who are being oppressed. We as a band have a very limited platform, but together with the Indy scene that we love, we think we can make great things happen. We love Indianapolis and we love the bands we are always so lucky to be able to play with. When this releases on Friday, please tell your friends, your family, whatever platform you have to share it to. You're getting a compilation of a wide roster of bands from a whole bunch of genres.
I (Zach) will absolutely forget to include someone on here so apologies to anyone I miss in this post!

Dan Gaines forever. Comic Carnival forever.
🖖
It is with greatest sadness that we must tell you that Dan Gaines, the co-owner of Comic Carnival, has passed away.
Dan was a tireless supporter of comic books, and worked harder than anybody we know to bring the best selection of periodicals, toys, statues, books, etc. to his store for your enjoyment.
When talking to the original owner of Comic Carnival, Mark Hylton, he said when he interviewed Dan for the job Dan said it was his (then young) life's goal to work for Comic Carnival. Well, forty years later Mark had no regrets about the decision to hire him. And at his passing he owned his beloved comic shop.
Here is his obituary: https://www.arnmortuary.com/obituary/Daniel-Gaines
If you would like to leave a memorial donation, in addition to the charities listed on the above link, Dan was a staunch supporter of free speech, and a member of the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. You could help keep comics safe:

We will be closed all day Thursday to allow the staff to attend Dan's memorial service. This would have driven Dan crazy. He was always here, and ready to work tirelessly to keep CC on its feet. We will reopen Friday at 11 am and resume our regular schedule thereafter.
We intend to have an in-store memorial for Dan soon, keep your eyes peeled for updates here. If you're on our mailing list, we'll send out an invitation there as well. You can sign up here if you prefer to be invited that way: https://t.co/D9BU11kq8J
Dan, we will miss you.
Catch Collin in theaters nationwide July 21st.
