Took myself on a little solo date tonight to a new bookstore in town, 📚

It was my second time in, and while I didn’t buy any books this time, I *did* have a warm fall drink, got some rows done on Milo’s sweater, AND read a chapter of my current kindle read. I should take myself out more often 😂

Knitting is magic.

I passed the heel of my *very first sock ever* (and my first time working with the teeny tiny fi*****ng weight yarn) and do you know what? It was not nearly as bad as I was anticipating. In fact, it was fun.

I’m so excited to wear these socks. And SO excited that they fit so far!

Hello from 2022!!

Wow, it was so nice to take a lil break from Instagram over the holidays and really spend time with my family & friends.

Rest assured, though, I didn’t stop knitting! These are a pair of I knit up for my mom for Christmas. She walks every single day, and it gets *cold* here in Michigan!

As this is my last in-person market of 2021, I also wanted to take a moment to shout out my husband (and Made By Meg’s biggest support), Cody ◡̈

He has not missed a market yet, and every time I continue to be amazed by his “Of course I’m coming!” when I ask him about my next market.

He’s my self-appointed marketing manager, always happily telling people “She takes custom orders!” or “we’d be happy to switch that pom out for a different one!”. He busies himself making sure my table looks good and reorganizing my stock after people dig through it. He loads and unloads, and dreams up ideas for this side gig and “our next market”.
