Monaco is interested in signing chelsea's teenage midfielder, charly musonda on loan
I'm sorry for not posting since all there days but now i'm back
According to the German media
source Bild, Bayern Munich are in
pole position to sign Chelsea
fullback Branislav Ivanovic.
The Serbian player has been
linked with a move away from
Stamford Bridge recently. He has
only one year left in his contract.
However, Chelsea aren’t willing to
extend the deal with the former
Lokomotiv Moscow star.
It’s believed that Ivanovic would
discuss offer from Bayern
Munich. The German club want to
sign a quality right defender
after Rafinha has been linked
with a move away from the club.
Ivanovic could be available for
£15m.
Meanwhile, other Chelsea star
has confirmed that he will leave
the club in summer.
JI SO-YUN TAKES PFA CROWN
Chelsea Ladies star Ji So-Yun has
been named as the PFA Women's
Players' Player of the Year. The
South Korean star was
celebrating after her team's 1-0
win over Birmingham
City,&ensured it was a day to
remember having earlier been
named in the WSL Team of the
Year alongside Chelsea team-
mate Eniola Aluko,who was also
on the shortlist.
The pair were instrumental in
last season’s second-placed
finish in the FAWSL Divison
1,&have made a strong start to
the 2015 season with the Blues
having won each of their 1st 6
matches in all competitions. They
are next in action vs Arsenal at
Staines Town’s Wheatsheaf Park
on Thursday evening.
Hannah Blundell was also in the
running for the Young Player of
the Year, but was beaten to the
gong by Arsenal Ladies' Leah
Williamson.
Arsenal vs Chelsea analysis:
Major Talking points from the
Emirates
by venkateshhari on April 27,
2015
Well if it was slightly in question
before this match, it certainly
isn’t now. Chelsea’s quest for the
Premier League title has almost
reached its climax. After a
dogged, stubborn and
defensively brilliant performance
at the Emirates on Sunday, they
held Arsenal, their closest
challengers, to a 0-0 draw.
The reaction of the Blues at full-
time told the entire story. The
players jumped around like they
had won the match. But, they
knew that, in essence, they had
all but won the league. With a 10-
point lead going into the last 5
games of the season, Chelsea
now need just 2 victories to
make it mathematically certain.
They can no longer seal it in April,
but 3 points each against
Leicester on Wednesday night
and Crystal Palace next Sunday
will follow a celebration of the
first league triumph in 5 years.
Despite the match ending
goalless, there were several
controversies and talking points
to come out of the Emirates. We
pick out the major ones:
1) John Terry puts in one of his
best ever performances
Jose Mourinho lauded his side’s
defensive discipline after the
game, but singled out John Terry
in his praise. The 34 year-old,
who has been at the club since
the age of 14, was made club
captain by Mourinho in 2004.
The Portuguese said that in all
his time managing the
Englishman, yesterday was his
best defensive performance.
Terry’s reading of the game was
on a completely different level, as
he thwarted every attempt by
Arsenal to pass their way into the
box. His positioning too, was as
good as ever, as he headed away
cross after cross that came into
the penalty area. The centre-half
wears his heart on his sleeve and
his celebrations at full-time
reflected his pride and happiness
at both his, and Chelsea’s
performance yesterday. He has
been named in the PFA Team of
the Year, for the first time since
since 2006, and is just weeks
away from lifting the 4th Premier
League trophy of his career.
2) Should Chelsea and Arsenal
both have had penalties?
In the first-half, both sides had
penalty shouts waved away by
referee Michael Oliver. The home
side felt they should have been
awarded a spot kick when Santi
Cazorla’s shot struck Gary Cahill
on the hand. But as the defender
was extremely close to the ball, it
wasn’t awarded. Chelsea had an
early claim when Oscar was
tripped by Hector Bellerin, but the
contact was both minimal and
accidental. Then came a moment
which the Arsenal fans really
enjoyed as Cesc Fabregas was
booked for diving in the box.
Replays show slight contact, but
the Spaniard did go down very
easily.
The most legitimate claim for a
spot kick came when Oscar was
put through by Fabregas. He
lobbed the ball over the
onrushing Ospina before the
goalkeeper took him out. Bellerin
cleared the ball off the line, and
following that, Oliver should have
stopped the game and given a
penalty.
3) Mourinho gets it right once
again
Chelsea, just like in all their
games this season, came with a
plan and executed it to
perfection. They were disciplined
and compact, and the defence
and midfield held their positions
perfectly throughout. They came
to the Emirates to avoid defeat,
and even though they could have
got much more out of the game
had either of Diego Costa or Loic
Remy been fit, Mourinho will
have no complaints. Even though
the Portuguese still refuses to say
the title race is all over, Chelsea
are almost there.

Former England midfielders
Steven Gerrard and Frank
Lampard were reunited as they
shared the PFA Merit award on
Sunday.
The veteran pair will leave the
Premier League for Major League
Soccer in the summer, having left
their mark on English football
since the turn of the century.
The midfield maestros were
mainstays of England's much-
heralded 'golden generation' and
collected 220 caps between
them.
Liverpool skipper Gerrard said:
"Of course, we played together
for England for a long time and
I'm a huge admirer of Frank and
his game and the success he has
had at Chelsea.
"He is an unbelievable player, a
world-class player and I couldn't
ask for anyone better to share it
with. I'm really pleased. Every
time you get an individual award
and an award for the job you do,
you're really happy. I'm a young
boy from a council estate who
has worked every so hard to get
to where I am today.
"I have been lucky, I have had a
fantastic career it has been full of
highs and lows but some of the
highs I have achieved have
blown me away and I achieved a
lot of my dreams playing for
Liverpool and England."
Gerrard will call time on a 17-year
Liverpool career when he
completes a move to Los Angeles
Galaxy at the end of the season
and admits he will miss many
aspects of playing at Anfield.
"It has been a privilege to
represent Liverpool for so long
and to share some of the
highlights of my career," he
added.
"For sure I'm going to miss
Liverpool, the league and the
country - I will miss everything
about it, it is going to be an
emotional few weeks, but I go
with my head held high and I'm
not going to hang my boots up
yet - I've got a couple of years left
in me."
Lampard is also set to join
Gerrard in America, with his loan
deal at Manchester City ending as
he embarks on a career
swansong with New York City.
He was delighted to share the
evening with Gerrard and
heralded the joint award as a
great way to end his time in
England.
He said: "I'm pleased - it is a
great honour. I have been
fortunate enough to have a long
time playing in the Premier
League - along with Steven it is a
great honour to be alongside a
player who himself has done so
much for the game. For the two
of us to get it, it is a nice send-off
and a nice ending for me.
"I have got a huge amount of
respect for Steven - we had a few
ding-dongs up and down the
years, we seemed to play each
other five or six times a season
when the Champions League
was involved.
Jose Mourinho SLAMS Arsenal
critics: Boring is not winning a
title for ten years
JOSE MOURINHO last night hit
out at his critics after taking
another big step towards the
title, saying: "Don't call us
boring!"

Arsenal fans sang: "Boring,
boring Chelsea" as the
champions elect ground out a
goalless draw at the Emirates to
leave them ten points clear at the
top.
But Mourinho, whose side could
clinch the title at home to Crystal
Palace this Sunday, turned the
tables by claiming it's the
Gunners are the dull ones.
He said: "You know, boring I
think is ten years without a title.
That's very boring.
"You support the club and you're
waiting, waiting, waiting for so
many years without a Premier
League title.
"The 'boring' team is the one
who has scored the second most
goals in the Premier League. It's
the team with the best goal
difference.
"Only Manchester City have
scored more goals than us. So I
think we scored a lot of goals.
BORING: Jose Mourinho has laid
into the critics of his team
[GETTY]
“You know, boring I think is
ten years without a title.
That's very boring”
Jose Mourinho
"Is it better to be respected than
loved? I have lots of love! If you
tell the truth, people will fall in
love with it. But you have to tell
the truth.
"If you say the truth, you will
walk in the truth and people will
blow kisses at you.
"First of all, we need to be
champions. If we do that - and I
think we are going to do that -
we will be champions being top
of the league since day one.
Only top teams can do that."
Mourinho also criticised Arsene
Wenger's decision to take off
striker Olivier Giroud with time
running out.
He said: "I don't think it was
boring Chelsea, it was boring
Arsenal. Maybe they aren't
singing to us.
"Maybe, when you want to win a
game and you're at home and
you take No 9 off, maybe the
home fans want to see Welbeck
and Giroud up front.
Mourinho also claimed evergreen
skipper John Terry had his best
game ever.
He said: "I told John Terry in the
dressing room that he made
fantastic performances with me
but this was his best.
"It was the best JT has ever
played. It was absolutely
amazing."
Chelsea did suffer one blow as
Oscar was taken to hospital at
half time with suspected
concussion.
Arsenal boss Wenger said:
"Chelsea will be champions. We
know that. It is impossible to lose
it now."
Chelsea’s Eden Hazard has been
named the PFA Player Of The Year
this evening after an event held
in the capital.
The Belgian ace has helped fire
the Blues towards the Premier
League title, as they are just six
points from clinching the honour
after a goalless draw with
Arsenal.

Hazard was the favourite to win
the award and it’s the next step
for the former Lille star, who
won the PFA Young Player Of The
Year award last term.
Speaking after receiving the
honour, Hazard said:
❝
“I’m very happy. One day I
want to be the best and
what I did this season is play
very well, Chelsea played very
well. I don’t know if I
deserve to win but it is good
for me. It is good, it is better
to be voted by the players –
they know everything about
football. This is good. I’m
very happy.”
“We are almost champions,
maybe this is the key. Last
season we finished third
and this season we have an
opportunity to win the
league. This has changed
from last season.”
“I continue like I did last
season – I try to be the
same. I try to score more
goals than last season.
Personally I have played a
good season, I have been
there in the big games and I
scored a lot of important
goals, this is why I’m better
this season.”
Tottenham’s Harry Kane, who
won Young Player Of The Year,
finished second whilst
Manchester United goalkeeper
David De Gea came third.
Also on the shortlist were
Arsenal’s Chilean sensation Alexis
Sanchez and Hazard’s team-mate
Diego Costa, along with Liverpool
midfielder Phillipe Coutinho.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho
was full of praise for midfielder
Cesc Fabregas and defender John
Terry after the 0-0 draw away at
Arsenal.
The Spain international was
playing his first game at the
Emirates Stadium after joining
Chelsea during last summer's
transfer window and had to
suffer a bombardment of boos
whenever on the ball.
But the Portuguese says the 27-
year-old was not affected by the
hostile reception he received by
the Arsenal fans.
"He [Cesc Fabregas] is the last
guy to be nervous," Mourinho
said after the game.
"He was very confident and we
played him in position where he
could have more control of the
game, but with a yellow card it is
a difficult position to play for
such a long time.
"In the second half we put
Ramires there and Cesc in a more
offensive position where he
doesn't have so many defensive
actions to risk a possible second
yellow, but his was a solid
performance like everyone in my
team."
Mourinho was also delighted
with the performance of captain
John Terry.
"John Terry was amazing, he's
had fantastic performances in
the five or six years we have
worked together and some of
them with goals," he added.
"There was a great performance
at Highbury in my first season
but today everything was clean –
his reading of the game, giving
cover all around the defensive
line, his interceptions with a
pass.
"The team was phenomenal but
John was one step ahead of
every player."
Chelsea were declined 3 penalties and arsenal were declined 1

MATIC: THINK QUICK
Nemanja Matic has stressed the
significance of staying mentally
strong when we take on Arsenal
at the Emirates tomorrow. We
head to north London 10points
clear of the Gunners after 4
consecutive league victories. Our
hosts are on a good run of their
own, having won 8 on the
spin,&Matic is taking nothing for
granted despite our impressive
victory against another in-form
side, Man United, last weekend.
‘Every game is different, but this
is a big derby, a special 1 for
us&our fans&a very important 1
for both teams,’ the 26yrs-old
told the club's official newsletter.
‘They are in 2nd position&it will
be very hard for us because they
are at home&are in a good
moment. We won 1 big match
against Man United but when the
Arsenal game starts we forget
what we did before. ‘I don’t
know if we will be the same as vs
Man United,we will have to see.
We have to be physical, that is
very important, but also it is
important to be strong mentally,
especially at this part of the
season.
Normally players are not in good
physical condition like at the
beginning of the season, so you
need mental strength. ‘Being in
the gym has nothing to do with
football, ofcourse you have your
exercises but lifting 200kg
doesn’t mean you will be strong
on the pitch, you also have to be
quick&think quickly as well,’ he
explained. ‘We are close to the
title, what we have worked
for&we know if we win the next
2games we are champions, but
there are 6games to go - we will
try as soon as possible, it is
difficult though,&the most
important thing is that when the
season finishes we are in 1st
position.’
It has been 5yrs since we last
lifted the Premier League, when
Matic was in his 1st Chelsea spell.
He appeared as a substitute in
our final game of 2009/10 – his
3rd appearance that season – as
we routed Wigan 8-0. If we can
repeat the trick this time
around,&finish as England’s
finest once more, the Serbian
admits it would provide him with
plenty more satisfaction.
‘Of course, because when I 1st
came here I didn’t play many
games,&now I have played
almost every game,’ he reasoned.
‘It would be special for me,&a
bigger feeling than in 2010 for
sure.’
I MIGHT BE THE STRIKER WHO
SAVES MOURINHO £30MILLION ~
BAMFORD
Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford
has stressed to Jose Mourinho
that he does not want to spend
next season sitting on the bench.
The highly-rated 21yrs-old has
spent the season on loan at
Middlesbrough, where he has
scored 17goals&establi shed
himself as 1 of the brighest
prospects in English football.
Mourinho is keen to incorporate
more young English players in his
squad next season but Bamford
has said that he does not want
to spend the campaign sitting on
the substitutes' bench at
Stamford Bridge. Instead,he is
prepared to consider another
loan move to further his
development - even though he
considers his long-term future to
be at Chelsea.
He told The Independent:
“Hopefully, I’ll be playing in the
Premier League next season one
way or another. I’d like to
try&play at Chelsea, but I don’t
want to spend next season sat
on the bench – at this stage it’s
important for my development
that I play every week if possible.
"Where I go is up to the club, but
I regard my long-term future
being at Chelsea. Fingers crossed,
I might be the man who saves
[Mourinho] spending £30M."

Match preview
Top
The last few weeks of the season
are beginning to feel like rather
the last few minutes of a match
in which Chelsea lead 1-0; expect
Mourinho's side to see it out
with ruthless efficiency rather
than joyous flair. You can't argue
with that - it's how games and
titles are won.
Chelsea haven't won a Premier
League match by more than one
goal since mid-January and four
consecutive victories by a single
goal margin have squeezed the
hope out of the teams below.
In truth, none of those would-be
rivals seem to have ever
convinced themselves that they
could win the title, let alone put a
doubt in Chelsea minds.
That's not to say that Arsenal will
roll over and wave the blue-and-
white open top bus on its victory
parade. There's plenty to play for
- not least Arsene Wenger's first-
ever victory over Mourinho in
what will be his 13th attempt.
Nine wins in nine games have
taken Arsenal to the FA Cup final
and to almost certain Champions
League qualification - on form
they may be even be the
favourites to win on Sunday - but
who would be brave enough to
bet on it?
Somehow Chelsea always seem
to know where Arsenal's
vulnerabilities lie. There's usually
no side more patient, more
clinical or more intimidating than
Chelsea - which makes their
petulant and mentally fragile
display against PSG last month all
the more puzzling.
Arsenal, who have already won
in the league at the Etihad and in
the cup at Old Trafford, would
get huge psychological benefit
from winning on Sunday as they
look for tangible evidence that
this might be a title-winning side
in development.
But if Chelsea win, then a victory
at Leicester on Wednesday would
seal their first title since 2010. If
not, then it will surely only be a
matter of time.

Head-to-head
Arsenal have failed to score in
any of their last four meetings
with Chelsea (in all
competitions). They have
conceded 10 in those four
games.
They have won just two of
their last 12 league clashes
with Chelsea (D2 L8).
The Gunners' last home win
over Chelsea was back in
2010. Since then, there have
been two 0-0 draws and a 2-1
defeat in the Premier League,
along with a 2-0 League Cup
defeat.
In the reverse fixture against
the Blues back in October,
Arsenal failed to have a shot
on target for the first time in a
Premier League match since
September 2003.
Arsenal
Arsenal are aiming for a ninth
consecutive league victory.
They have won their last 11
matches in all domestic
competitions and their tally of
33 points in 2015 is higher
than any other Premier League
side.
The Gunners are looking for a
10th consecutive league
victory at the Emirates. They
haven't dropped points at
home since losing 2-1 to
Manchester United on 22
November.
It is over a year since Arsenal
last failed to score in a league
match at the Emirates - a 0-0
draw with Man Utd in
February 2014.
Arsene Wenger has lost just
five competitive home games
by a 3+ goal margin during his
tenure as Arsenal manager;
three of those have come
against Chelsea.
Olivier Giroud has scored 10
goals in his last 12 matches in
all competitions.
Chelsea
Chelsea are looking for a fifth
consecutive Premier League
victory, which would be their
best winning run of the
season.
The Blues are aiming for a
sixth consecutive away victory
in the top flight. The last time
they dropped points away
from home was also in north
London - a 5-3 defeat at
Tottenham on New Year's Day.
Chelsea have scored in their
last 19 league games - the only
team to stop them scoring in
any competition this season is
Sunderland.
Jose Mourinho has never lost
as an opposition coach
against Arsene Wenger in any
competition (W7 D5 L0).
Chelsea have scored first in all
20 of their games in all
competitions in 2015.
Cesc Fabregas has a league-
high 16 Premier League
assists this season. Only
Thierry Henry (20 in 2002-03),
Frank Lampard (18 in
2004-05) and Fabregas
himself (17 in 2007-08) have
ever registered more in a
single Premier League
campaign.
The Chelsea medical team has
been doing their thing this
season, with only two players
that are not guaranteed fit for
Sunday’s clash at the Emirates.
Even though these injuries will
play a part in how the match
plays out Sunday, it is amazing
there are no long term injuries
currently. Diego Costa is still
nursing his hamstring injury,
which he suffered earlier in the
season and is still feeling pain
from. Fellow striker, Loïc Rémy, is
still questionable due to a calf
problem he has been dealing
with for some weeks now. Didier
Drogba is apparently ready to go
this Sunday, despite the ankle
injury that kept him out of a
charity match on Monday. John
Obi Mikel and Cesc Fàbregas are
also both fully fit despite rumors
about Cesc’s nose.

Loïc Rémy is normally Mourinho’s
number two choices at the
striker position, and his spot on
the bench would need to be
filled. Either teenage sensation,
Izzy Brown or Dom Solanke,
could be on the bench to start
the match in the Frenchmen’s
place. This injury is incredibly
inconvenient for Mourinho, and
Chelsea supporters, because
Rémy’s job is to fill the starting
position in case Diego Costa was
to get hurt. This week would be
the perfect spotlight for Rémy,
starting at the Emirates.
Brazilian superstar Diego Costa
may not be fit for Sunday, but he
will “definitely” be fit for
Leicester City on Wednesday
according to Mourinho. Costa
reinjured his hamstring against
Stoke City, just after 11 minutes
of action. A fully fit Diego Costa
would provide Chelsea an extra
threat against Arsenal on Sunday.
Costa has scored 19 goals this
season so far, which is 1 goal
behind Golden Boot leaders, and
Harry Kane. Costa is surely biting
at the nail for more action, so
expect him to come out guns
blazing for Leicester on
Wednesday if he is not fit for
Sunday.
Mourinho finds himself in a
predicament for Sunday, without
a fully fit striker. This press
conference was good news for
Chelsea supportersthough.
Hearing that Diego will certainly
be back next week was music to
our ears.
