Holly Dale - Textiles Designer
Holly Dale - Textiles Designer I started out with the support of The Princes Trust in 2012, after completing my BA Hons degree, in Surface and Textiles Design.
I have also studied interior design, whilst at college, where I learnt technical drawing. I enjoy combining the two skills of sewing and technical drawing together to create bespoke and individual works of art. I am drawn towards architecture and I appreciate all the different periods and styles, which I have recreated in my work. My rabbit Benny first inspired me to stitch various animals and pet
After a long time of not sewing I have finally restarted the cockerel I started working on before COVID, it's still Work in progress, but I hope you like it.....
Inspired by the beautiful chickens at Swains, their feathers are amazing .... Did you know mother hens talk to there unborn babies and they churp back though there shells. Keep an eye out for the finished piece.
After a funny 18 months it's so exciting to have my sewing machine back and set up in my new work space.... Can't wait to get show you soon my next peice of art that I started over a year and a half ago :D
