We have been fighting for a contract, respect, and wage increases for over 20 months with the University of Washington. We have seen very little progress or willingness to bargain from the other side. Our wages are being withheld and the UW is trying get us to give up. We will continue to fight and we need your help. Finally. Persistence pays off and the Blue team sees success. Students advocate for extension lecturers through letter to Michael Young Eleven students gathered on Tuesday afternoon to deliver a letter to President Michael Young’s office in Gerberding Hall that outlined their dissatisfaction with the UW’s treatment of extension lecturers.
