2024 FOOTBALL SCHEDULE

Congrats to Drew Stewart! Drew was selected to the Texas High School Coaches Association Super Elite Team for Girls Track. The THSCA Super Elite Team criteria is a student athlete that is nominated by their coaches because they have good moral character and has excelled as an elite member in their respective sport. Drew definitely meets that criteria and is very deserving of this award. Please help us in congratulating her!

I just want to remind everyone that we will start our summer strength and conditioning workouts next Monday at 8am. All incoming 7th-12th graders are welcome to attend at no cost. We will workout for the first hour and do sport specific training for the second hour. We should be finished around 10:00-10:30am. This is a great opportunity to get some work in because most of our competitors will be doing the same. We hope to see most of our athletes on Monday morning!

Please help us in congratulating Reagan Maxson and her accomplishments in tennis this year. Reagan played in the UIL 2A Girls Singles State Championship match this morning in San Antonio. Congratulations Reagan on your second place finish at the State Tournament.

Congrats and best of luck to Drew Stewart as she will be running at the state track meet on Friday evening. We will have a send off for Drew tomorrow (Thursday 5/2) at 11:10am. If you are going to watch her at the state track meet she will run Friday evening: 100Hurdles at 5:45pm and 300Hurdles at 7:35pm. Tickets and parking passes can be purchased through the UIL website. Get to Austin on Friday night to cheer on Drew!

Please help us in congratulating Bryanna Hutcherson and Richard Ross. Both of these amazing people signed their letter of intent this morning to continue doing what they love to do at the next level. They will be attending Centenary College of Louisiana. Bry will be continuing there as a cheerleader and Rich will be running track. We are very proud of both of them.

Due to the chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorm chances tomorrow, we will be moving our Varsity Baseball game to 10am on Friday 4/26. Varsity will play at 10am with JV to follow right after the finish of the varsity game as long as weather permits.

We are still a few weeks out from these dates but since it is such a busy time of the year that we wanted to go ahead and get the dates out to everyone.

- End of the Year Athletic Banquet - Monday, May 13th at 6pm in the cafeteria. Dinner tickets will be $20 for family and friends of our athletes. Athletes are free.

- Physicals - Wednesday, May 15th during the school day. Physicals will be $20 each and it is strongly encouraged that all incoming 7th-12th grade athletes get this taken care of on this day so that we do not have to worry about it over the summer.

Due to our baseball field conditions, tonight's baseball game is being postponed until tomorrow night. UIL rules state that the game is played on the next available day which is tomorrow, Wednesday, April 10th. We will still honor our Seniors at 5:45pm and play at 6:00pm.

Our boys and girls did a great job competing at the district track meet in Snook over the last couple days. Most of our varsity athletes qualified for the area meet next week in Deweyville. A huge congrats goes out to our Varsity Girls Track Team who are now the 2024 26-AA District Champs. Our girls scored 200 points at the meet. Hayden Potter was the top scoring athlete, scoring 34 points for her team in her field and running events. We are very proud of how well of our track athletes competed over the last couple days. Good luck at Area!

Our track meet was originally set for Thursday 3/21 but due to the inclement weather that is forecast for that day, we have decided to move our meet up to Wednesday 3/20. At this time we have not made any changes to the Middle School meet that is scheduled for Friday.

Please come out tomorrow night to cheer on our Boy’s Basketball team as they start the playoffs. They will be playing Sabine Pass at Conroe Oak Ridge High School. The game will begin at 6pm and all tickets will be sold at the door (cash only).

Please congratulate this hard working young lady when you see her. Bryanna Hutcherson has been named the Region 3 lifter of the week by the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association. This is very well deserved as she has worked tremendously hard this season.

Normangee Girls Basketball Playoffs 2024 for NORMANGEE HS ATH

In an effort for our parents and fans to go out and support both varsity basketball teams this Friday night at two different locations, we have changed the Men's Varsity Basketball time. The Varsity will be playing at home with a 4:30pm tip off.

Please come out and support our Lady Panthers Basketball team on Friday night at A&M Consolidated High School Gym. They will be playing Mumford for the district title at 6:30pm.
