“Who wants Pizza?” at IMI Mexico
The Human Resources group of IMI Mexico came up with a fun concept for their employee engagement activity called “The Pizza Dance.” HR representatives went around manufacturing areas asking “Who wants pizza?”
Simple yet engaging, the activity made the employees loosen up and feel at home in their workplace.
Employee engagement is workplace program that puts together the appropriate conditions so that employees can give their best at work both individually and as a team, and commit themselves to care about their work and the company.
Founded in 1996, IMI Mexico is one of the company’s 21 manufacturing sites across ten countries, serving the automotive and industrial market sectors.

IMI’S CULTURE JOURNEY PROGRAM, NOW ON ITS 5th YEAR “We wouldn’t be where we are now, this 5th year of our culture journey, if we didn’t not execute our dream, our goals. Execution is key: this means living our culture journey everyday – continuously improving, developing, growing… Everyday, we may have several challenges and issues we need to address, and I hope all of us would find strength to know that we have people who are spearheading the cultural journey with us. They too had a dream and a vision, & look at where we are now. We would not be the most employee engaged company in the entire Ayala group if not for all of you and the leadership of our HR team. Thank you. Let us continue to embark on our next steps in this culture journey together.” - Arthur R. Tan during the 5th year anniversary celebration of the Culture Journey Program
