We have reached the end of another semester and it is time once again to say good-bye to our volunteers. We would like to thank Neil and Kitty for dedicating their time to work with us and we hope very much to see you all again in November.
We would like to welcome Volunteers Kitty and Neil from the U.K. They will be joining us for the entire semester and are eager to start teaching.
Here are some photos from the farewell party at GLL school and a dinner with the school's teachers. While James' time volunteering with us has come to an end, we all hope to see him come back in the not too distant future.
We just wanted to share some photos of Volunteer James treating the children at Giu Lae Luang school to some Ice Cream!🍦
As it is getting near the end of his stay with us, we thought we would share some photos of Volunteer James teaching and doing various activities with the school.
We would like to welcome Volunteer James, who has just recently arrived and will be joining us for this semester. James is very enthusiastic and we are all excited to have him here.
Today our founder Dr. Duen Marti joined us as we visited Giu Lae Luang School and the Principal Mr. Chonlawit showed us several ongoing projects such as 2 vegetable gardens, a mushroom shed as well as a chicken coop. These projects serve as a teaching tool for the children as well as providing nourishment. Mr. Chonlawit has been very active since transferring to this school and has achieved excellent results.
The Araya Foundation went to visit Giu Lae Luang School for Children's Day. We brought pizza, donuts, fruit and juice. A great time was had by all.
Today we visited Ban Mae Long School, Giu Lae Luang School. Ban Huaysom School to donate masks and COVID testing kits on behalf of the Araya Foundation.
