Today is one of the most important days in our family.

Eighteen years ago, you made us parents, Michael and completed our family. My beautiful, blue-eyed son—you have grown into everything we could ever wish for in a man. You are honest, incredibly determined, and, yes, a little demanding. But what stands out most is how much you ask of yourself, always striving to be the best. You possess qualities that many spend a lifetime building, and yet, you were just born with them.

Thank you for having the kindest heart, the biggest blue eyes, and the most loyal spirit. Life without you is unimaginable. I wish you nothing but the best, but most importantly, I hope you learn to be kinder to yourself, knowing just how capable you are of anything you set your mind to. We are always by your side—your dad who you take after in so many ways, your brother , who couldn’t ask for a better big brother, and me, so proud to be your mother.

Happy 18th Birthday, our dear boy. We can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with you. Love you so much.❤️

Today’s post is going to be a long one.
I usually keep my social media light and fun, but today, I want to share something more personal. Blame it on the moon and the Scorpio, as they say.🌘

I came to New York when I was only eight years old. I’ll never forget the drive from JFK to Manhattan, feeling mesmerized as we crossed the bridges and entered the concrete jungle. Even back then, I knew that this city would forever hold my heart.

Years later, I found myself coming back and forth, until finally, I made New York my home. It wasn’t easy. Staying in New York required sacrifices, but I loved every second of it. Then came a moment when I had to make a choice, and as someone recently reminded me, dreams are expensive. I made the decision to start a new chapter—a choice that gave me my family, my kids, and the life I have now. It is the best choice I ever made and so happy I went with my heart ❤️

But still, part of my heart belongs to New York 🗽I miss it greatly. I miss my friends, the energy, the mindset, and the unique opportunities you can only find there. There’s a reason why people from all over the world feel drawn to this city. And I knew that, one way or another, my work would always lead me back to New York.

And funny enough, life has a way of coming full circle. With everything that’s happened globally, we now have the ability to work remotely and pursue our dreams without uprooting our families. I never thought I’d be able to say it, but I can now reach New York from anywhere. And with that, I understand that what I have to offer—my experience, my vision, my craft—is perhaps most valuable in New York, where creativity and ambition know no limits.

Now, as I work with clients and create something new, I’m proud to carry that New York spirit with me, wherever I am. It’s more than just a place; it’s a state of mind. And that mindset is something I bring to every project.

And we discussed my approach to social media. And she helped me understand what I really enjoy posting… and that would be my looks that mix recent purchases with some of my favorites that I have for years… How to update an old dress, or how to make your 10-year old coat current again. Or as on one of those images, how to make your husband’s old leather jacket Uber stylish✅

I know it has been a while… and I finally felt inspired to share ✨🙌🏼 ( I know, I will work on consistency 🙏🏼 I promise 😉)

So this to me is a perfect Friday outfit map ( my personal👌🏼) I have few meetings in the day where I want to look professional, polished and feminine at the same time. Look 1 is a total look made it work. Black stalking boots really balance out the flower print as well as heavy framed sunglasses.💫
Look 2 is for the night time is one of my favorite looks lately that got great reviews and I wore it last week. I loved the sexy dress balanced out buy black tights like boots and oversized bomber jacket. And of course total black is always a winner for the night time 🖤

To me mixing items from very different style stories is what makes you unique, unforgettable and distinguishes your personal style🖤

Today I decided to share with you something personal about me but at the same time something educational… at least it was for me🖤

From a young age, I was drawn to the color black, finding confidence and elegance in its timelessness. While I’ve admired Belgian and Japanese designers, my connection with BALENCIAGA deepened under Demna Gvasalia’s creative direction. Understanding his roots enriched my appreciation for the brand’s modern reinterpretations of tradition.

My visit to the Prado Museum in Madrid was a pivotal moment. I learned that during the Renaissance, Spanish royals often wore black lace and velvet, as black was the most expensive color. This revelation sparked memories of BALENCIAGA’s iconic pieces in black, highlighting the brand’s connection to history and sophistication.

Leaving the museum, I felt a renewed bond with both the color black and BALENCIAGA. Fashion truly is a dialogue between the past and present, and this experience illuminated the threads that weave my passions together. I look forward to continuing my journey with BALENCIAGA, inspired by the rich history that informs its future.

Well.. this is what my 42 looks like…. And I wouldn’t want it to be any different! Out of this age I have seen a lot, gained a lot, lost a lot… and learned how to appreciate every second I live! Exactly half of my life I am with my wonderful husband, we have two great sons, the best doodle of my dreams… and this is just the beginning!

And now it’s time to conquer new heights and add more chapters to my personal book of life 📖

As a long-time supporter of the secondhand market, it is with a heavy heart that I share my growing disillusionment. Once a bastion of affordability, sustainability, and unique finds, the secondhand market is now almost unattainable for the regular consumer due to the resurgence of luxury brand sales.

From Advocate to Skeptic

For years, I championed the secondhand market for its ability to democratize fashion, reduce waste, and offer unique items. However, recent developments have led me to question whether the market is losing its way.

The Luxury Brand Resurgence: A Double-Edged Sword

Platforms like The RealReal and Vestiaire Collective have seen a surge in luxury listings, driven by consumers looking to recoup their investments. While this trend has brought visibility and legitimacy, it has also driven up prices, making it difficult for regular consumers to find affordable options.

The Price Hike: An Unintended Barrier

The secondhand market was once a refuge for those seeking affordable fashion. However, the increasing presence of luxury brands has surged prices, creating a barrier for average consumers who may have turned to the market out of necessity.

The Allure of Exclusivity: A Shift in Values

The secondhand market was built on principles of sustainability, affordability, and accessibility. The growing focus on luxury brands has introduced an element of exclusivity, diluting these core values and making it harder for the market to maintain its original identity.
